Mum has been a resident now for over 6 months and I am so pleased she has settled well. I cannot fault the care Mum receives and I am extremely grateful for the kindness of all the staff shown to not just Mum but to us all as a family.

My mother in law was in Clifton Court for 8 months. In her time there she was well looked after, family are always made welcome when visiting, The home has lovely gardens for those who are able to go outside. Would recommend to anyone who has to make the decision for care for relatives. Staff go above and beyond.

On another note: there are rarely unpleasant smells, & I appreciate they can be difficult to avoid, especially in smaller care facilities. But the chimneys pass with flying colours.

Excellent nursing and care - all staff are an absolute credit to the management, who have very experienced and robust methods and procedures in place. They looked after our mother (as well as the entire family) with kindness, dignity and experience.

Can not fault the whole team, care and compassion from all at this sad time. Not only looking after mum but whole family.

On my first visit to the Chimneys, I was welcomed by all members of the team, and felt very welcome. The Chimneys looked very clean inside and outside the building. My sister seemed very calm and happy in her enviorment and praised the staff throughout my visit... especially the catering department for the variety and delicious meals. Thank you for ensuring my sister is safe and happy.

My friend has been a resident for the past 3 1/2 years. I am greeted with cups of tea and sandwiches. I stayed here for 2 weeks during 2025. The staff and management are great and considerate.

I am really happy with all care mum get. I am really happy with home mum seem really happy at Granville House she loves all the staff and all the staff are really good with her and she always tidy she enjoy the food and pubbing. She has settle really well and the management team are always helpful.

My friend has been at this care home for over a year , he is so happy there he thinks it is a hotel .It is such a happy welcoming place staff go above and beyond , he is certainly in a better place than he was .

My father was in the care of Clifton Court from April 2025 - February 2026. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. In the late stages of dementia, he wasn't always the easiest to deal with, but the staff were always so friendly and helpful and they went above and beyond to ensure that his care needs were met. The setting is also a lovely place to visit, a clean warm building and a garden with expansive views. Many people dread the idea of their close relatives going into a care home, but this was definitely as positive an experience as it can be.

My wife was transferred to The Elms from another selected by Social Services. She is happier at The Elms, furthermore the staff have taken an interest in getting her to walk again (she lost that ability whilst at the previous home, due to them not bothering with her). I have been welcomed whenever I have turned up to visit. The manager keeps in contact with me via email and it is not unknown for individual staff members to telephone me if there was anything of which I should be made aware. I am delighted that my wife had ended up at The Elms and I would thoroughly recommend their service.

We are pleased we chose Chimneys to take care of mum. She is treated with respect and dignity by all staff, who are caring, friendly and patient with her. The staff create a stimulating environment where mum is encouraged to engage in activities and social contact. We are always made welcome when visiting and are encouraged to be part of The Chimneys community.

My mother has been at Granville House for 8 months and I have only positive things to say. The atmosphere is friendly, peaceful and calm. The staff seem genuinely to care about the experience of the residents. The manageress is approachable and very quick to respond to questions and concerns. I will never forget the kindness and understanding shown to me by the Operations Director when I first approached Cross Crown at a very vulnerable and distressing time in our family's lives. We were looking at several care homes at the time, but the way she dealt with us on the phone played a huge part in helping us to make our decision about where to go. The other huge factor helping this decision was the incredibly friendly and kind carer who showed me round the care home on our first visit. My mother loves her room and the view from her window. There was a wonderful BBQ organised in August which was enjoyed by residents, staff and family alike. Choosing here was the best decision we made!

The Elms care home is a home away from home. Because there are not too many residents, it has a real family feel. The manager and her team treat dad with kindness, patience and compassion. He is well cared for and treated as if he is their family and this is down to the ethos that the manager creates there. We are so happy with the care and support the home provides. They are always accommodating and we feel reassured that dad is being looked after while we aren't with him. We would always recommend The Elms. Thank you so much to the manager and the team.

What a lovely summer mum has had at The Chimneys, from the summer garden party, trips to the pub for lunch, enjoying the beautiful gardens which have been entered into a competition, to all the usual entertainers and singers who come in regularly which mum really enjoys as she loves music. The food at Chimneys is home cooked and always a choice with delicious puddings. Mum is always spotlessly clean , with matching or colour coordinated clothes on. This is such an amazing care home with staff who are dedicated to making sure the residents are healthy and most importantly happy. I highly recommend The Chimneys, mum has been here over a year and loves it. Thanks to the manager, one member of staff in particular and team for everything they do. We really appreciate it x

Dad was admitted following a stroke. He did not want to go into a nursing home and unfortunately he did not engage with any of the activities - despite lots of gentle encouragement from staff. As a family we were very happy with the care provided - the carers were friendly, the food was good, although the portions were too big when served in his room. My only criticism would be about facilities (which the home can do nothing about sadly!) such as the shower was upstairs and the room was quite small. Would recommend.

My mother was a resident with you from July 2024 to March 2025. The care she received was fantastic. (FANTASTIC) She came to you from hospital following a fall and had never wanted to live in a home, but she was no longer safe at home. Lilbourne was perfect as the staff were friendly, professional, the environment was modern and bright. I can't recommend it highly enough and that's saying something as I'm a health professional. Special thanks to two particular staff members.

Mum has been a resident at The Elms for almost 6 years now. She has had a very difficult time with her health and can sometimes be very challenging to look after. The staff are, without exception, very Kind, compassionate and caring with mum. They are also very supportive of me and my family and go the extra mile to help mum and keep her comfortable. The home is clean and well staffed and the food served is of good quality and nutritious. Mum is very settled and happy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excellent care home.

A group of 6 people visiting a friend who had just become a resident, we were welcomed by very helpful staff. They found a room for us all to meet privately and even gave us drinks. The staff were courteous and caring for our friend and us, facilitating one of our group who was a wheelchair user. Our friend expressed how happy she is. The home was pleasant, clean and the added art works made a pleasing environment which our friend obviously enjoyed.

If anything arises they are quick to get the issue investigated and resolved as quickly as possible by medical professionals. The communication is excellent the manager keeps me informed and updates me regularly. He recently said to the manager "thank you very much, I am very happy and are well looked after". It is a wonderful home and would highly recommend.
