My dad was admitted to Overslade in December 2018, and the standard of care he's received over the last few months has been excellent. I can't find fault with a single thing but if one thing needs a mention: the staff are outstanding. They have all been kind and caring and have always been there...
We've been very impressed all round, and from a relative's point of view, I can relax a little, knowing that my dad couldn't be better looked after than at Overslade.

I would like to say, everybody I came across in the two years of visiting my dad, all were very good and professional. Very friendly, nothing was too much and made us more than welcome. I would recommend anytime.

I have been to this care home quite a lot over the past 2 years. The place is clean and tidy and there is always a warm and friendly welcome and atmosphere. Staff are well organised and always happy to help.

From my first enquiry, all the staff could not have been more helpful. The care my mother received was truly wonderful and she greatly appreciated all the kindness and consideration plus the food!

My wife stayed at Overslade for one month. Words would not describe this home - a home of homes. I would recommend this home to anyone. It is the very best. I don't think they could do anything better - wonderful.

I transferred to Overslade from hospital following surgery. Welcomed by management and staff. The care home is managed and run to the highest standards. I stayed for 2 1/2 weeks - anxious to return to my own home as soon as possible (I live in a superb retirement village). I value my independence.

Cecil Gill is a valued volunteer at Overslade House who gives his time to our residents weekly to offer emotional and spiritual support. Cecil was in the Christian ministry for over 50 years, mainly in the villages in Norfolk and Essex, and retired to Rugby in 2014 where shortly afterwards they became part of the ‘Gift of years’, working in care homes in the town, and which he hopes to continue to do in Overslade for the foreseeable future.
Cecil has lived in Rugby for 10 years; he has four grown-up children and 6 grandchildren whom he loves spending time with. Cecil enjoys walking and over the years has walked many miles in and around Rugby. Especially along the canals. Cecil also enjoys gardening.
Cecil said, “We count it a privilege to be chaplains in Overslade care home, where we represent the Rugby churches, offering spiritual care through reading the Bible, prayer and conversation with the residents”.
