The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home is located in a conservation area, close to the town centre. The Home's gardens and Georgian architecture helps Residents and visitors feel at home and in 2025, the home was awarded a Gold award by Leamington Town Hall for the lovely gardens. The Home has its own Activities Co-ordinators, who undertake group activities and one-to-ones with the residents.

Mealtimes are also an important part of the day for residents and the home's talented cooks provide tasty, nutritious meals throughout the day. The nursing home also has an in-house hairdressing salon, while all rooms are equipped with TVs with access to digital channels and all rooms have fully adjustable electrically operated nursing beds. Professionals provide the highest standards of 24-hour Nursing Care.

The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home has been awarded an overall 'Good' rating in their recent CQC inspection (April 2019) as well as a GOLD standard for infection control in October 2023.

The Home had a visit from the Quality Assurance Team from Warwickshire County Council on the 11th of December 2025. The purpose of this visit is to review the quality of care provided by Leamington Spa Nursing Home, for assurance that the service provided to residents is safe and effective.

The Team’s review was guided by; talking to the home manager, deputy manager, care manager, staff, visiting professionals and the residents; a tour of the home; viewing individual care plans of residents, the training matrix, staff personal files and health and safety records and discussing any safeguarding concerns, recent complaints and serious incidents. Following the Team’s visit, Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home passed with flying colours with no service improvement plan issued from their visit.

What impresses me most is how everyone - from care workers and nurses to management, activities, housekeeping, maintenance, and catering staff - treat residents as individuals. They understand what matters to each person and respond with genuine kindness and professionalism. The atmosphere is calm and
friendly, creating a real sense of home.
The medical care is outstanding. Staff are attentive to changes in condition, respond promptly to concerns, and communicate effectively with families. They regularly go above and beyond to support residents' well-being and happiness.
After three years, I still have complete confidence in the care my mother receives. She is very happy there and speaks warmly of the staff. I would recommend it to any family looking for a nursing home for a loved one.

My grandmother has been at the Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home for about three years. I visit as often as I can and also make video calls regularly. I can honestly say that the care she receives there is excellent.


The staff know my grandmother well and are very attentive to her needs and wishes.

For example, when she unexpectedly asks to go for a walk with me, they get her ready in the wheelchair quickly even though it was not planned. They are also very welcoming to me and other visitors. My grandmother speaks highly of all the staff. My mother assures me that the management is as responsive and helpful as the rest of the team.


The care she has received has been consistently good throughout her time there. It means a lot to me to know that she is genuinely content there. The whole family is very happy and relieved with the care she receives. It gives us all real peace of mind.

I am very pleased with the outstanding care and support from the Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home. The food is wonderful, the kind, friendly manner from the staff is wonderful.
The activities team are amazing and special thanks to Emma for the care and attention that she gives to not just the residents

The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home is friendly and welcoming. Carers and nurses treat the residents with dignity and respect. Some carers have been at the home a long time and so they keep their staff. The home is well managed. A lot of effort put into making sure residents have a happy birthday
by the activities team and events like Christmas and Easter are celebrated with decorations. The local library deliver books and the friendly laundry and cleaning staff keep everything clean and tidy. The food is very good and effort is made to accommodate preferences. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is near a park and gardens for wheelchairs.

Overall the home and staff have been helpful and understanding towards our daughter under different circumstances than their used to. Due to the damage to our daughters brain she can be sometimes challenging and its obviously something that their not used to. The team have been outstanding in treating
her diabetes which has always been a challenge with her.

This care home lives up to all the expectations of what 'good' nursing care homes should be. Joe's team are exceptional and always friendly on arrival, smiling making family welcome. topical dates. Lovely Summer & Winter fayres & garden in Summer is gorgeous. I can not fault home at all and father very happy living here.

The home provided a lovely Christmas party for the residents: a really good plate of party food, a great singer and the residents were able to sing along to a few songs, thoughtful chocolate treats from dressed-up Santa.
Working long hours on Christmas day; staff came in early to get everyone washed
and ready for the day and visitors.
Made arrangements for everyone to sit together in the dining room. Provided a lovely little mini buffet in the evening.
Thanks so much for the thoughtful pressie for each resident from dressed up Santa.
Visited by friends; the staff brought small plates and took extra care when bringing tea for everyone, by using herbal tea (one had a medical condition) and by bringing honey and extra water along. So thoughtful.
Thanks for all the wonderful help and care we continue to receive.

My husband has only been here for two months but I am very impressed with the care and kindness shown to him. The staff in the lounge are very committed to making all the residents, doing as much as they can and getting enjoyment. I also like that he is never left out, although he can't join in.

I look forward to my weekly visits to see my very dear friend. She is always comfortable and happy, so clean and tidy.
She loves to talk on most occasions but everyone ensures that she is hydrated and all her needs are catered for.

All the staff are extremely attentive to my mum's (and everyone else's) needs. There are a myriad of activities in the afternoons keeping the residents occupied and active. Still impressed by the variety of equipment required to cater for various residents' needs. And the food still gets highly rated

He has been my backbone from day 1! My role is a privilege, a conduit to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. With a career spanning over two decades within the realm of caring, I continue to approach each day with unwavering enthusiasm. Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home holds a special place in my heart, a true embodiment of a welcoming abode.


My qualifications are as follows: Bachelor's in Adult General Nursing; Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education; District Nursing Degree, Master's Degree in Health Care Management and an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.


As a seasoned and qualified nurse, my dedication to care has fostered a deep-rooted connection, and I derive immense satisfaction from hands-on interaction with our cherished residents.

I’m the Care Manager at The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home. I have been working at the Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home since 2018, after coming to England from Macedonia, where I was working as a nurse in a private polyclinic. I love to care, full of compassion, strength, passion, positivity and courageousness in all my work. I also love to help people and my staff at all times. For example, on my days off, I am always available to be contacted, and I support our carer staff. I have gained different experiences at The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home in all areas of care. For example, I not only deliver exceptional care to residents, but I also assist in the training and induction of new staff, so that they can achieve the high care standards required when working for the home.


I have gained the following qualifications since I started work at the Home. These qualifications have helped me to execute my role excellently. These are the Level 4 Advanced People Handling and Risk Assessment Key Trainer’s Certificate, Certificate in Conflict Management (CPD Online College), Certificate in Team Leading Level 2 (CPD Online College), and Certificate in Tracheostomy Care Awareness.


I am always trying to do better and level up in providing care for our residents. I am also one of the Homes' Infection Control Champions. Some of my daily work involves verbal or written supervision with carer staff, support, updating, teaching, training, and advice on residents' activities of daily living. My goal is to see content, positive and happy staff, residents, and families. I believe if all staff are happy, content and proud, our residents will be happier and content as well, including their families. I am happy to see our staff, residents and family happy.

Hello, my name is Jackie and I am Deputy Manager at The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home. I will have worked here for 10 years come Easter 2025.


I have a very diverse history in Nursing. I started as a carer before my nurse training and passed my exams in 1991.


During my career, I have worked in Acute Psychiatry, drug and alcohol services, rehabilitation services, and Secure units and have also trained as a Prison Officer. I specialised in conflict resolution and was known as a ‘troubleshooter’ in my field.


I have worked all over the UK, from North to South and also in Germany and Belgium.


I originally hail from Lancashire and have the typical Lancastrian ways. I say things as they are and like to think I am honest and open. I also have the Lancashire sense of humour and believe a stranger is a friend I haven’t yet met.


I have an NVQ 4 and 5 in management, and when I started working at ‘The Royal’, it was as a staff nurse. I had decided to come away from management and do what I do best, nursing. However, here I am in another management role; it seems I am destined to remain this way.


I never intended to remain at ‘The Royal’. I thought a year, 2 years at most, but I fell in love with the place, with the staff, the culture and of course the wonderful residents I have had the honour to care for over the last 10 years.


My skills, to name but a few, are Medication Management and Trainer, PEG/RIG care and management, Tracheotomy care and management, Catheter care and management, including male, female and suprapubic, Palliative care including Syringe Drivers and Verification of death, and Dementia care.


I enjoy photography, wildlife and bird photography, though since acquiring my Shih Tzu boy, this has not been possible as he scares the wildlife away. I speak Dutch, adequately though not fluently from my time working in Belgium.
