Excellent care has been given to my Aunty. All the carers are lovely and nothing is too much bother. The home is really clean and the staff keep them engaged, if any one of the residents need anything they are there like a flash. The atmosphere of the home is always happy and that is a big thing for
a home. A big thank you to all the staff for being so kind.

Had initial concerns regarding recent staff losses. New staff and management do appear to be very good. Hopefully new changes will appear to be positive and beneficial to residents. Bit soon to be able to comment fully.

My mum moved into Cliff House Clowne in December 2024 and couldn't be happier. The care given by the staff has been exceptional. It's been a great relief to us as a family to know she is cared for so well.

Staff have been exceptionally kind since we made our first enquiry. Mum is now settled and staff have been able to stabilise her medication. We feel happy that we are able to visit at any time and can be involved in any special events.

My dad's been here since the beginning of September. It's such a lovely clean care home the staff & managers are so caring & genuinely do care for the residents. The events lady makes it a very jolly place to be. When we came to look round one staff member in particular was so nice & we got a warm feeling
when she showed us round. Even though my dad lived out of the area, we decided this was the place for him home from home.

Dad has only been a resident for 12 weeks. He has settled in quickly with the excellent support from the management and all the staff. The atmosphere in the home is great, homely, and friendly. Interaction between staff and residents is genuine and they show our Dad love and respect. They are kind,
caring, and professional. When Dad's health deteriorated and he needed medical attention the staff and management were quick to respond with emergency services and contacting family. After a few days in the hospital, Dad was back with the caring knowledgeable staff who understood Dad's health and well-being.
The activities co-ordinator is very upbeat and the residents do lots of interactive, creative, and fun activities wether you want to join in or watch.
Monthly Church services are a lovely idea and appear to be enjoyed by everyone.
The support from the local surgery medical team who visit on a regular basis is very reassuring.
Thank you to all the team for looking after our Dad and caring for him.

Everyone from management to all the staff is very friendly, nothing is too much trouble including cleaning and kitchen staff. The activities coordinator, what a difference she has made! Treated to hot drinks and cake every time I go, what more could you ask for?

I find the staff very friendly. They treat Mum very well, which is the most important thing. We always feel that we are welcome to visit. The activities coordinator is excellent and tries to get residents involved in her entertainment, which is varied.

First-class care feels like family. I can't fault the staff - all brilliant - so kind, caring, wonderful, knowledgable, dedicated, professional - not enough words to describe how fantastic they are.
The rooms and environment are clean, and smell fresh!

My wife is treated with great care and compassion by the amazing staff, and she receives regular visits from clinicians from the local surgery. She has a pleasant room which is cleaned daily and there are numerous activities for her to join in throughout the week. The staff always listens to any concerns
that she may have and they are always pleasant and cheerful.

My Mum has been a resident of Cliff House for 2 and a half years. Her health (physical and mental well-being) has been at a more stable and improved level since she moved in. I have always been kept informed of any issues and I feel very confident in the ability of the staff caring for Mum. It is evident
to me that all staff (carers, domestics, kitchen staff, activity lady) have the residents well being as a high priority.

Cliff House is an excellent example of a well-organized, well-run care home. I can’t praise them enough. The carers, the team leaders, the management, and all other staff go the extra mile to look after the residents. I can’t thank them enough for looking after my mum who is 93 years old. They have
welcomed her with open arms and the care they are giving her is outstanding. The home is spacious, light, airy, and spotlessly clean, rooms are the same. Mum is treated with dignity and respect. Security is of a very high standard.
I cannot fault this care home and cannot praise them enough. One of the managers went out of her way to get Mum into the home from the hospital as quickly as possible, she was very efficient and made the transition go smoothly despite all the pressures.
Residents are given a good choice of nourishing food and are always kept hydrated.
This care home is excellent value for money.
Staff are very supportive of both the residents and their relatives. Thank you so much.

I brought Dad here on the recommendation of a friend. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. The rooms are always clean and the activities are great. Nothing is a problem. Good variety of food and entertainment.

My gran came here as she was struggling to remain at home due to her mobility. She thrived here, the staff were amazing and when she suddenly suffered a stroke and was end of life only a couple of months after she arrived, they looked after her. I cannot thank the staff enough for giving my gran the
best care during her time there. The end of life care was second to none, and her family were also well looked after during our visits. A personal thank you to the two staff members who were by my gran's side and mine at the end. Thank you so much.

We feel that my Aunt could not be better cared for. The atmosphere in the home is so great and we feel welcomed each time we visit. The staff are so patient and interact with the residents. We feel confident that my aunt is getting inspirational activities and lots of positive interaction.

Cliff House is a home that cares.
The staff here have looked after my relative with kindness, care and compassion.
Every aspect of care is resident-focused which staff achieve by getting to know their residents really well - from ensuring residents are fed food which they want to eat, interaction
is group and individual, clean and well-maintained facilities along with excellent housekeeping.
The gratitude I have for the staff here and the way they care is immense, they become part of your relative's expanded family very quickly and thankfully you never have to worry about what you would do without them.

My godmother has been at Cliff House for some years now and turns 100 in 2023. Cliff house provides all the things I would wish for her. She is part of a family, she is loved and cared for. her personal care is the staff's priority with dignity. She is able to smile and laugh, yet has space to live
and feel like an individual, be it to read, to watch the TV, or to meet with friends and family. We visited several potential homes on behalf of her, and it happens that I placed my mum here in her final weeks. The manager and her team are amazing, and above all, she is happy.

Highly satisfied with the service provided. The staff are great, fantastic to see Mum looking so happy and contented. The rooms are spacious and have fab views over the valley. Activities seem to have suffered a little following recent restrictions but sure things will soon be back to normal.
