Mother-in-law is suffering from dementia and she is getting all the help and assistance which is needed. Staff are all very helpful and friendly and are treating the residents with respect. During the pandemic the care home did very well and safeguarded the residents.

Needs reorganising. Little stimulation for residents who would be able to take advantage of this. Too much time and money spent on Halloween (really a non-event). My husband is a coeliac and has a hiatus hernia. Despite providing lists of what he can and can't eat, he is still given food which causes him stomach pain. Relevant medicine is only given when asked for or at the nurses' discretion - this medicine is free on the NHS. Previously given four times a day.

I spent two hours at the care home and was thoroughly impressed with all and who I saw. I was made to feel welcome by all the staff: who during my stay did all that the residents needed without fuss and a good deal of love.

All the residents were happy and all seemed to have a good relationship with the numerous staff and yet had their own space and needs respected. Extremely well done.

I would say taking 2 care homes from required improvement into GOOD across the board within a month of each other.
