**Royal Manor Care Home Review**
Royal Manor provided exceptional care for my mother during the two years she lived there before she passed away. The kindness, compassion, and dedication shown by every member of staff were truly remarkable. From day one, she was treated with warmth, respect, and genuine affection, which made such a difference to her comfort and happiness.
The medical and personal care she received were outstanding. The staff were attentive, professional, and always took the time to ensure her needs were met with dignity and understanding. Their commitment to her wellbeing gave our family great peace of mind throughout her stay.
The kitchen team consistently prepared delicious, nutritious meals, always mindful of individual preferences and dietary needs. The cleaning and laundry staff also deserve special recognition for maintaining such a spotless, welcoming environment and ensuring her clothes and surroundings were always fresh and cared for.

Thank you to all x

As a resident at The Royal Manor nursing home since Mar 2024, I have nothing but praise and admiration for all the staff for everything that they do for me. I have received top level care and everyone has treated me with kindness and respect at all times. The staff go way above and beyond in their care towards all the residents. The entertainment is always varied and enjoyed by all. Because I have full capacity to make my own decisions the staff are very accommodating and understanding and I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be during this time of illness. They have all helped me in more ways than they could know

I cannot thank all of the staff at Royal Manor enough for the care and respect given to my mother in law whilst at Royal Manor, especially during her last few weeks.
Karen, Aarti, Sajeev and Kieran are amazing nurses and the care staff were also fantastic. All staff were always friendly, caring, respectful of dignity and privacy and looked after her when we were not able to.
Yes, the home could do with a bit of care and attention, but it is the staff that make it a home.

I would highly recommend the Royal Manor with regard to dementia care.

My father came into the home for end-of-life care. The assistant manager was nothing short of excellent in communication, care, compassion and upholding my father's dignity. All of the staff were amazing with my father and my family. I would highly recommend the home to anyone. The fabric of the building needs some attention in presentation, however, the staff are fantastic. Arti - thank you for caring, you are a credit to the organisation.

The home cares for an 80yr old gentleman who has severe learning difficulties well beyond the needs of dementia. The gentleman has no remaining family. My wife and I have been family friends for 60years.There is no one else.
After a very nervous initial placement we are almost a year further on and have to say that care has been excellent and have no complaints whatsoever. Please bare in mind here that "our" situation here is quite unusual and the care home has had to learn much whilst 'on the hoof' so as to speak.
They have kept us informed of all needs and are fully approachable on any subject ranging from financial matters to hospital day care appointments. There are numerous interactive sessions which keep residents active including outdoor groups and special 'days away'.

What the home lacks in lavish facilities (swimming pools, saunas, hydro's e.t.c.) is more than made up for by the mgt and staff who are professional, attentive and proactive and dare I say, happy in their work.

My Dad is in the Royal Manor, he has Dementia.

He is safe and well looked after, it's cosey and spotlessly clean. They really made an effort at Christmas and everywhere was decorated and Santa made a visit. My dad is still settling in but all the staff are lovely, and nothing is too much trouble for them. hes only been there a few weeks but already his skin is looking much better and he's always clean and tidy. It's a smaller nursing home than some of the others we looked at with a lovely homely feel. I'm so pleased we chose this one and we would definitely recommend it.

I am very pleased with the care my father in law receives, this means my wife can relax knowing her dad is well cared for. We visit each weekend with my mother in law and we are always offered a drink, my father in law is brought to another room where we can share private moments. We are updated regularly and I have only good things to say would recommend.

We have our mum at the Royal Manor initially for rehab but has become a permanent resident there now .we couldn't ask for better care for her she is happy there and settled and we as a family can always speak with the manager and owner their door is always open if we want to talk to them about anything

The other members if staff are lovely to mum and that really helps as she was very independent before going into the home

Very caring and professional service for my mother. The Royal Manor Nursing Home kept me fully updated about my mother over the last six months since she was admitted. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with both residents and visitors. There are always a lot of staff on shift ensuring that each resident receives personal attention and care. Plenty of activities are arranged each month for the residents and there is an enclosed garden with seating available to all. I would strongly recommend the Royal Manor Nursing Home.

I cannot praise the staff at Royal Manor Nursing Home highly enough. My relative moved to the home after a crisis and stayed for 6 months until she passed away with advanced dementia.
The care my relative received was exemplary. Staff were always so kind, caring, and patient and we were welcomed warmly as a family on our visits to the home.
I am particularly grateful to the home's Assistant Manager, who always demonstrated the utmost professionalism and her ability to recall details of my relative's care without needing to refer to documentation or other staff was extraordinary. She was always very happy to take our phone calls and provide any information and guidance we needed.

My relative enjoyed the regular parties at the home and we enjoyed being able to be with her for those celebrations. When we couldn't attend, we enjoyed being able to see her, via the home's social media group, taking part and enjoying activities and entertainment.

My granddad has just passed away after residing at The Royal Manor for about 2 years and the reason he had managed 2 years was with the help, love and care of the wonderful Royal Manor team. They really are the most kind people and I have enjoyed many laughs whilst visiting my granddad with him, his friends and the Team. I believe when a care home becomes someone's home their friends and family become part of the team to support them, at The Royal Manor I have always felt welcome and I have enjoyed the social parties and even a game of bingo. Thanks, Team Royal Manor for everything!

My mother has been at the Royal Manor since July 2020. I always find her happy and content and she has never complained about anything. She has a nice big room and private bathroom. I bought her a mobile phone and now, with the attention of one of the carers there who I can't name but they know who they are - I get calls on a mobile app so I can see my mother and wish her a good night. Thanks to the particular member of staff and the team!
