Our mum has been living in the care home for 2 years and the quality of care that she is receiving is excellent. The staff are remarkable and so caring. Mum has advanced dementia and the staff do everything to help her remain upbeat and safe from harm. I feel assured that the care mum receives is not
only meeting her needs but excels expectations. Thank you for everything that you do for our mum . The managers communication with myself and my sister is spot on and any changes in mums care needs are addressed straight away and we are consulted about anything relating to mums needs and her care plan. Nothing seems to be too much for the staff and they are kind and friendly to everyone.

My mum is looked after well by the staff and all her needs are met. I'm grateful for everything they do to make her as comfortable and happy as possible.
Although her condition is challenging for her and staff at times, staff at the home do their best to meet all the demands of their role with a smile.
Thank

Nancy was welcomed and well cared for, from the beginning - not easy as she is at least twenty years younger than other patients. The staff speak to her gently or with positive encouragement and share any concerns, including medical visits, dietary etc. Nancy enjoys colouring, singing and word searches,
but her type of dementia doesn't allow her to converse freely. The care home is small and feels like a 'home' and is very safe. The staff are to be congratulated on their various events, and they make relatives feel welcome and at home.
Reply from Kasim Scally, Manager at Airedale Residential & Dementia Home

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and heartfelt words about Nancy's experience with us. We're so pleased to hear that she has felt welcomed and well cared for from the very start. Our team works hard to provide personalised support for each resident, and it's lovely to know that their gentle encouragement and open communication have made a difference. We're delighted that Nancy enjoys her activities, and that our home's warm and safe environment has brought comfort to both her and her family. Your kind words mean so much to our staff - they truly take pride in making everyone feel at home. Best regards Kas and the Team

A wonderful care home set amongst the beautiful part of Pudsey. I couldn't have wished for a more relaxing stay despite not feeling well in myself. The staff are all so welcoming and helpful, always smiling and very caring and compassionate. They are fantastic with all the residents and have so much

Couldn't have found a better home for my dad. As soon as we walked through the door we knew we had found a home from home for him. The management and staff have created a family atmosphere which was a joy to see every time we visited (daily). Dad was well kept, his room was always clean and tidy.
It's
incredible the activities the staff got the residents involved in. My dad even got the chance to spend the day on a boat, travelling over to the Isle of Wight and back. That was a highlight for him in his final year.
Dad had dementia and at times he was rather difficult concerning eating and drinking. The staff were always on hand with encouragement, making him different things to try and tempt him to eat. Dad felt that all the staff were his personal friends. Caring home, value for money, peace of mind. Very caring professional team at Meadow House.

Mum has now been in Airedale for over 2 1/2 years and we have seen lots of changes. They have all been to make the home better. We can tell Mum is well cared for and loved. We are able to speak to staff if we do have any concerns. Now that there is an activities coordinator it is lovely to see everyone
join in. She also arranges activities that family and friends can attend. We don't have any concerns over the home or Mum's care.

My Dad was looked after really well while he was in their care. The staff put their residents at the foremost of everything they do and nothing is too much trouble. Dad was well supported by all the staff at Meadow House and they were really good at encouraging him to maintain his independence. The
atmosphere in the home is one of a happy and caring family and Dad was certainly happier being in their care. Dad had dementia and as it progressed, they supported him brilliantly. They also supported us, the family, too and we can't thank them enough. It was very reassuring knowing that he was getting the best care and attention when we were not around. I cannot thank them enough, without their care and expertise Dad's final years would not have been so good. Thank you Meadow House, you are all brilliant!

My Mum has been resident at Meadow House for just under a year now and the care has been amazing. Mum can be very difficult at times and the staff and management step up evey time to ensure the best care that works for Mum. It is a warm friendly place where the staff always say hello and are happy to
assist with anything.
The food provided is good and appetising and the staff are willing to make adjustments when Mum is being 'fussy' about the meal on offer.
There are regular activities and even trips out if Mum is up to it. Every month I am updated via a newsletter and when I visit I am given verbal updates also.
I am so happy that Mum is now in a safe and friendly environment after not coping well at home and ending up in hospital for a spell.
I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this care home. Thank you so much to the team at Meadow House.

When she arrived 5 years ago she was at her lowest ever point, unhappy, confused, afraid and unwell. However, from day one the staff were tireless and determined. They couldn't have done more for her and for us. No challenge was too great. Their kindness, patience and dedication had a wonderful effect
on her and, entirely thanks to their excellent care, our mother enjoyed a further 5 years of happy and rewarding life.
Burton Oaks became a real home to her, the staff and other residents like family. She really enjoyed the food, the attention, the company, the excellent activities and all the unexpected little extras that mean so much.
We will be forever grateful.

Mum first joined Burton Oaks back in 2020. We had just lost Dad and Mum was so poorly. Recovering from a broken hip and with a bad case of delirium. During her stay we saw Mum transform. Going from very sad and confused to gaining strength and beginning to really enjoy herself again. She flourished
under the expert care from the dedicated staff at Burton Oaks. The mum we had know ten years ago was back. Enjoying the many activities and entertainment provided by the staff. Keeping her both physically and mentally active. Mum made great friends of the staff and residents. She also really enjoyed the food which is excellent. Mum told me everyday what she had enjoyed for breakfast dinner and tea. Mum had a beautifull room overlooking the well maintained garden and veranda. The whole place is full of love light and laughter.
I can never thank the staff, family of Burton Oaks enough. For everything they have done to make mum's stay so happy over so many years.

In my opinion, my husband should not have been in a care home but due to a few difficulties with the choice I have made putting him in the care home I regret this choice not because he was unhappy or anything but due to a few things that have been sorted out everything has worked out well. He is very
pleased without choices and is very happy to be with me again.
