Mum has been at Airedale for 3yrs & 8mths. In that time we have seen significant improvements in the day to day running of the home, refurbishment of the living rooms & dining room, outside space & staff recruitment. The home receiving the excellent CQC rating of good which was thoroughly deserved.
The staff take a personal interest in the residents & family & it's lovely to see the interaction they have with the residents. There's a choice of meals & the food is good. There is a very home from home atmosphere. We are always contacted should any issue arise with Mums health & if required the appropriate service involved. Mum has advanced dementia & continues to decline and at times her behaviour is challenging but we feel she is safe & cared for & we are fully supported. The activities coordinator ensures the residents have plenty of things to do & also arranges family events & fundraisers. Management are very approachable & lead by example
Reply from Kasim Scally, Manager at Airedale Residential & Dementia HomeThank you for your kind review and continued support.

We are delighted to hear that you have noticed the improvements made to the home and that you feel your mum is safe, well cared for, and supported. Your comments about our staff, activities, communication, and management team mean a great deal to us.

It is a privilege to care for your mum, and we appreciate the trust you place in us. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

The level of care that Mum's receives is exceptional. I know that she's extremely well looked after and I have peace of mind as I know that she is safe. The home has a lovely atmosphere and all the staff are very caring and respectful of all the residents. This is not a one off as I visit every

Dealing with mum's more difficult moments we'll and enjoying sharing a joke and a smile with her. The staff were excellent at monitoring her health and responding accordingly

At 94 years old Mum had lived in her own home on her own for many years. Following a couple of falls & a hospital stay she decided that she would no longer feel safe at home & that she had gotten used to being looked after. We set about looking for a new home for Mum, we visited dozens of homes but
non seemed to be right until we found Meadow House. From the moment we stepped in the door we were welcomed by Alina the Manager & given a tour, luckily a room was available & Mum moved in quickly, she soon settled in finding her preferred chair in her preferred lounge. Mum enjoyed the food & ate better than she had for years, with her medication & personal care managed we were able to relax knowing she was being well looked after. The family visited Mum daily. The home was always calm, spotlessly clean & well staffed. Sadly Mum passed away this year. We cannot praise or thank Alina & her team enough for the care & compassion shown to our Mum & to us, her family, through to the end.

As a resident at The Royal Manor nursing home since Mar 2024, I have nothing but praise and admiration for all the staff for everything that they do for me. I have received top level care and everyone has treated me with kindness and respect at all times. The staff go way above and beyond in their care

Such a lovely place
My grandmother has recently moved in to Airedale Dementia Care and residential home. My self and my family couldn't be happier with the care and support from the amazing team here.

Naturally, finding somewhere for a loved one is such a scary process and the anxiety that comes

with it, as we want the best for them and after horror stories about other places it can be such an ordeal searching for the perfect place.

I can honestly say from the moment my gran came, all my anxieties were completely gone. Met by such wonderful caring staff willing to go above and beyond to make my grans stay as safe and comfortable as possible, that spoke volumes.

I visit a good few times a week and there is always social or individual activities for the residents to do to prevent boredom. How fabulous it is especially for those who have lacked social time or being stuck in with only their own company.

Reply from Kasim Scally, Manager at Airedale Residential & Dementia HomeThank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. It truly means the world to our whole team to know that your grandmother and family feel happy, safe, and supported here at Airedale Dementia Care and Residential Home.

We understand how emotional and overwhelming the process of finding the right care home can be, so hearing that your anxieties were eased from the moment your gran arrived is incredibly special to us. Our staff are passionate about creating a warm, caring environment where every resident feels valued, comfortable, and at home.

It's lovely to hear that you've noticed the activities and social opportunities available too - keeping our residents engaged, connected, and smiling is something we care deeply about.

Thank you again for your trust, support, and for taking the time to share such wonderful feedback. We're so pleased your gran is part of our Airedale family.

I cannot thank all of the staff at Royal Manor enough for the care and respect given to my mother in law whilst at Royal Manor, especially during her last few weeks.
Karen, Aarti, Sajeev and Kieran are amazing nurses and the care staff were also fantastic. All staff were always friendly, caring, respectful
of dignity and privacy and looked after her when we were not able to.
Yes, the home could do with a bit of care and attention, but it is the staff that make it a home.
I would highly recommend the Royal Manor with regard to dementia care.

My Grandma has been in the care home for 4 weeks now, she has dementia and wasn't able to live at home safe anymore, i didn't know what to expect and if i'm honest the care home, manager, deputy manager and all the staff are lovely and very patient with my grandma, they take the time to know her what
she likes doesn't like and try and accommodate that.
Don't get me wrong she still has good days and bad days but that's part of her condition and had them when she was at home.

The staff are so welcoming to the family as well and know me by first name basis and even my granddaughter.
We just had are first event what was Mother's day and honestly it was lovely, my 2 year old granddaughter loved it, i loved it my daughter loved it and even more important my Grandma and the other residents loved it.

Really can't wait for the next event and honestly would like to thank all the staff even the caretaker/handy man, is so nice and compassionate and made the transition easier.

Reply from Kasim Scally, Manager at Airedale Residential & Dementia HomeThank you so much for your lovely review-it really means a lot to us all.
We know how big a step moving into care can be, so we're glad to hear your Grandma has settled in well and that you feel supported too. Our team always aims to get to know each resident personally, so it's wonderful to hear this has made a difference.
We're also so pleased you and your family enjoyed the Mother's Day event-it was a special day for everyone, and it's great to know your granddaughter loved it as well.
Your kind words will be shared with the whole team, including our maintenance staff-they'll really appreciate it.

Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you at our next event!
