My mother resided at Stanley House for three and a half years, and I was very happy with the care she received. All the staff were very professional and caring and treated the residents with respect. The activities were many and varied and designed to include all the residents. My mother's reported that the food was very good, and she looked forward to the meals. I would certainly recommend Stanley House to anyone seeking care for their loved one.

My mother was admitted straight from the hospital for end-of-life care.
All the staff were very courteous, caring and professional. She was looked after very well.

The other thing that stood out, for the period of time that Mum was able to eat, was the quality of the meals served - restaurant quality food that was well presented.

Mum has recently moved into Stanley House. Thank you for making Mum feel so welcome and feel that she belongs. You have such wonderful, friendly and inspirational staff, with attention to detail in every role. Mum says, and I can see, she already feels very relaxed and at home. With the variety of activities, Mum said 'I think my days will be more fulfilled'. How right she is, through your gentle encouragement, her days are more interesting. You have adapted to Mum, in all areas, rather than the other way around, truly respecting Mum as an individual. It's lovely to see the rapport she has with everyone. Thank you for taking on board my knowledge of Mum's preferences too. Exemplary care and very high standards, in all aspects. Highly recommend.

Dad moved to Stanley House straight from hospital last year. He had been living on his own and was just about managing with a lot of support from the family. After his illness in hospital he went to Stanley House to 'try it out' and has never looked back. The activities are team are brilliant always creative and inspiring. During the COVID-19 lockdown they have really come up with some imaginative ways for the families to keep in touch. Living in a shared home has kept Dad from being left on his own. All the staff are great and caring for both residents and their families.

My mum has been a resident for 12 months now, she settled in very quickly. Like everyone, I was concerned at the start if I had done 'the right thing', putting my mum in care is a big decision. I am very happy with the home. The staff are superb and nothing is too much trouble. I am very impressed with the day to day running and activities. The home is always clean and tidy with lots going on. The food is good, wholesome, British fayre with plenty of choice. Very satisfied.

Dad is very contented and comfortable in Stanley House and my mother, who also has dementia but lives at home, is also very comfortable and at ease when she visits him.
Dad is very satisfied with the food, staff and activities and we are able to visit him as a family regularly and are made very welcome.

We often participate in activities and special events. The staff are excellent as is the level of care - nothing is too much trouble. I don't worry about Dad now as I know he is in excellent hands.
