My sister was orginally at The Grange for a two week assesment period. All the staff are absoulety amazing, so very caring and compasionde. My sister is now a full time residient which we are so happy they have been able to accomodate her. My sister has a diagnosis of 'young' alzhiemers, and I was extremly anxious about her having to live full time in a home. The staff have gone out of their way to make my sister feel welcome, and due to age they alway make time to talk to her thank you.

Dad was admitted at The Grange on 9/1/26 due to reoccurring falls and diagnosis of dementia. It was a very difficult time for both myself and dad, and to start with he wasn't happy. But over the last few weeks I've seen a vast improvement in overall health and mood. He seems happy and content, enjoys the day to day activities, and interacts with staff which makes him laugh, sharing the odd joke! which is delightful to see

LG.

Mum was discharged to assess to The Grange following a stay in hospital. She is now a permanent resident.
I can not praise the staff enough. They always treat her with dignity and are compassionate towards her and me including me in all decisions.
There is always something going on. She is well fed, warm, comfortable and safe.

I can not stress what a relief it is knowing how well she is being looked after. I can not recommend it highly enough.

Each time I visit my mum, everyone is so welcoming and I get updated how mum is, and what sort of night she's had. The staff are all so helpful, friendly and caring. Mum loves the meals, and she receives regular drinks. The management are always very helpful, it puts my mind at ease knowing mum is being looked after with kindness and care.

We couldn't be happier with the care my mother has received since moving to The Grange Residential Home in September 2023. The staff are welcoming, compassionate, and truly attentive, making her feel right at home. The activities offered are well-organised and engaging, giving her opportunities to make friends and enjoy each day. Seeing her smiling, happy, and sharing stories of her experiences brings us such peace of mind. Thank you, to the Grange management and care team, for creating a caring, joyful environment where my mother can thrive. We're so grateful to know she's in such good hands!

My dad has been a resident at The Grange since August 2023, we are very happy with the care my dad receives, we don't have to worry about him as we know Dad is being well loved after. Dad enjoys the meals and joining in with the daily activities, the activities facilitator is absolutely brilliant. The care home is very clean and has been recently redecorated throughout. The staff are very kind and friendly and the home is very well run. We often joke that we wouldn't mind staying there for a week! I would highly recommend The Grange as a care home.

My impression of the nursing home is excellent. The staff are very friendly and caring in nature to me and to the patients. I am happy that my mother is being cared for with kindness and compassion and that her dignity is being upheld. The environment is pleasant, clean and homely. Whilst my mother is not in a position to participate in organised activities it seems they are beneficial. I was pleased to see in my mum's room some of her personal possessions. The food presented at meal times looks appetising and plentiful. I am impressed with the carers' patience at feeding time.

After our initial visit to The Grange, I knew my dad would be happy living there. The staff are so happy and friendly! The activity co-ordinator is amazing and there is always something exciting happening. The living area is bright, airy and spacious. The food looks delicious and there is lots of outdoor seating which the residents are encouraged to use. My dad has mixed dementia and has many needs. I feel happy these are being met and he is being well looked after. We love to visit and are made very welcome!

Ellie Grace ProbertJob Title:Deputy ManagerJoined: 2020

Hi! I’m Ellie and I am the deputy manager at The Grange. I joined the team in March 2020 with 17 years of social care experience, the majority of which being in residential homes or domiciliary care and within various roles, starting as a young and somewhat wet behind-the-ears support worker! I worked hard and underwent a host of training to become skilled and knowledgeable in the social care sector and that is how I have come to be in my current role, sharing that knowledge with our friendly, hardworking and dedicated staff. Besides being a football mum to 2 beautiful girls, spending time with family and friends and enjoying sunny and snowy holidays, there is nothing more important to me than seeing our service users happy and enjoying their lives at The Grange which is why person-centred, high-quality care is at the forefront of everything we do, creating a real home from home environment.
