Mum went into care March 23rd due to deterioration in her condition already attended daycare and respite at the home. Care always very good, the staff are caring and very thoughtful. Mum always enjoyed her stay. Activities very good, taking all clients into account trying to keep them motivated during
these difficult times. Of late the standards have slipped a little but I am sure this will be rectified.

Very impressed with the care home during lockdown. They locked down swiftly setting up the ability to talk to our relatives by Skype or Face Time. They created a Facebook page allowing us to send photos and also see what they were doing. Lots and lots of fun activities. Well done Grosvenor House staff!

Both my parents were at Grosvenor House, and my mother lived there for over a year. My mother wasn’t always the easiest, but the staff were always fantastic and caring towards her. The facilities at Grosvenor were brilliant and my mother's room was the best I’ve seen with a fantastic kitchenette and
private shower. There was also an amazing spa and garden. I feel very lucky that Grosvenor was there for my parents when they needed it, and I could relax knowing how well they were being cared for.

This care home provides excellent care for all its members. Staff are caring and considerate and do their very best to make the residents feel at home. Wonderful staff - I cannot praise them enough. Activities are marvellous, excellent entertainment - a truly brilliant care home.

I have always found the staff very caring, professional and understanding, nothing is too much trouble. Love and dignity are shown at all times.
The activities throughout the month are very well throughout and executed they look great and the residents have a lovely time.

Mum seems happy here, so long as she can get outside for a cigarette! Mum worries about her clothing being used by others, but overall is happy with her care. The family are happy that she is safe, well-fed and clean. Thank you all.

Moving my mother from another care home to Grosvenor House was the best move I could have made. Grosvenor is a welcoming, warm, clean and tidy home with carers and other staff who treat residents and visitors with the utmost respect. It's always a pleasure to visit mother and the staff. Carers do their best; they work hard, especially on who will do what's needed.
The food is prepared fresh every day and will cook what is needed - presentation is spot on.
The home is clean, and my mum's room is tailored to her.

My mother transferred from hospital to Grosvenor House on December 12th, leaving only a short time to settle in before Christmas. This would be her first Xmas away from family and we left her, after Christmas morning visit, with heavy hearts. However, she had a wonderful day and has since been happy
and comfortable and often tells us how kind and caring all the staff are to her. We visit at least once per week and find the staff very welcoming to us.

The end of life care that mum received was exemplary.
When she was in better health, we would have liked for her to be able to take part in a greater variety of activities.
However, the staff were always extremely helpful and pleasant, and we could not have asked for more.

I want to congratulate all staff at Grovesnor House for the outstanding care they gave to our sister
She was looked after extremely well, we often hear about bad things that happen in some care homes, but very rarely the good.
So we as a family want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for
the love and affection that you showed to her.
Cheese on toast at 2 o clock in the morning was no bother to you, anything she wanted was hers.
When she was on end of life care you upped the ante and looked after her family also with endless cups of tea, biscuits and sympathy.
All of the family are extremely grateful that she was in your care and sing your praises to everyone

Grosvenor House Care Home is a wonderfully run care home. The quality of life for your loved ones are first class. The staff and people who are in charge make things go smoothly, from the cleanliness to care, food and everything else. Everyone in the home always go that 'extra mile' to see that everything
is in order. When I leave my mother ofter a visit, I am pleased to say I know she will be well looked after and safe.

A lot of you may know me (or my voice) from our much-loved video calls, but haven’t met me in person yet!


My role at Grosvenor House is well-being, Engagement and Communication. This means that my focus is to help bridge the gap between us and you with the use of our video calls and social media pages and to work closely with our residents and our team to create impactful opportunities to promote their well-being.


I am looking forward to meeting you all properly when the opportunity arises and getting to know you all!

Mike has been a valued member of the Grosvenor House Care Home team since 2022. With a deep passion for creating nutritious, home-cooked meals.


He brings both heart and expertise to every dish he prepares.


Mike is dedicated to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, working closely with trusted butchers and fishmongers to ensure the highest quality in the meals he prepares.


His menus are a delightful balance of comforting traditional favourites and exciting new flavours, thoughtfully tailored to suit the tastes and dietary needs of everyone we support.


Mike also enjoys designing seasonal menus that celebrate the best of each time of year, and he brings a touch of creativity and flair to every plate. One of the highlights for many families is his popular fine dining evenings, where residents and their loved ones can enjoy a special restaurant-style experience within the home.

With a career dedicated to helping others, Jamie is deeply passionate about making a difference—she finds joy in bringing smiles to people’s faces and creating meaningful connections with residents and their families. Her calm, caring presence and clinical expertise make her a trusted leader and a much-loved member of our team.


Outside of work, Jamie embraces the spirit of adventure. She loves travelling around Europe in her campervan, exploring new places, kayaking on peaceful waters, and, most proudly, spending time as a devoted grandma.
