An excellent visit to see Mum. The staff are friendly and professional. The care home is clean, warm and very good. A real home-from-home with excellent staff and care.

The home offered a counselling service, which is very unique and amazing service.

Mum was a resident for 4 months following a spell in hospital. Care was excellent. All her needs were catered for, especially during the night. Most days there was entertainment well cared for food-wise. Hair and nails done weekly.

Always a very warm, welcoming and friendly home. My dad's bedroom is lovely and we all enjoy our visits here. My dad enjoys the bingo and social aspect of being here and is fond of all of the staff, speaking very highly of them. The family fun days are very good, we have enjoyed attending many of them. We love seeing all the animals here too. The food is good and we really like the coffee hub.

In my opinion, Grosvenor House Care Home has and continues to give excellent nursing and care. February being no exception. Residents, including myself, are benefitting from regular assessments of needs and regular care plan updates resulting in quality care. Our range of diverse activities is increasing all the time to meet residents' wishes. It's not surprising that Grosvenor House is full at present as I now believe it is giving a service of excellent and should be recognised as such.

I cannot thank Grosvenor House Care Home enough for the care and support they continue to provide for my mum. Although my mum has only been with Grosvenor House for a few months, they have made a massive impact on Mum's quality of life. This was done by medication reviews and a dedicated manager who has gone above and beyond and for that, I will be eternally grateful.

My father has been here for seven weeks and is really happy. The staff are amazing and really care about my father. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they have wheeled my father to the local pub to meet me there (I'm unable to push a wheelchair) and they have bought him cough sweets and beer at his request. All the staff joined a secret Santa so every resident got a present. The home is beautifully decorated and is very much a home, not an institution. Staff keep me informed of how my father is doing and what activities he's joined in (I'm not yet aware of all activities that take place - hence the good). All care homes should be like this.

The care my grandad received at Grosvenor House Care Home has been outstanding. He was a resident for 14 months, he was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. His care needs were always put first and the activities that were provided for the residents were engaging and fun.

Grosvenor House provided end-of-life care to grandad which was exceptional. They cared for him holistically and supported all family members during this difficult time. The family were able to visit and spend time with him and the staff supported us. The staff were professional and very kind. We will miss everyone at the home. I cannot praise Grosvenor House enough they have been exemplary.

Hi, I’m Megan. I’ve been working at Grosvenor House since 2021, when I first joined the team supporting people with video calling during the Covid pandemic. It was such a rewarding experience helping residents stay connected with their loved ones during a difficult time, and it inspired me to progress further in care.

Since then, I’ve become a Care Assistant and achieved my Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I’m really keen to keep learning, developing my skills, and expanding my knowledge so I can provide the best possible support to the people we care for.
