Friendly, dedicated staff. Always on hand to help. Comfortable accommodation. Plenty of good food and drink at any time of the day. Cleaning is done all of the time. The bedroom is comfortable and spacious.

My father was at Grosvenor for around 20 months, he had Dementia and Alzheimers. The staff and their care was to a high standard, my Mum was given support and reassurance with regard to any issues about my Dad. Meals were freshly prepared and were organised around what Dad wanted to eat. The home is
set in a quiet village, the gardens have been beautifully kept for all residents to enjoy, including the patio area. Dad's room with ensuite was very clean and restful. The home is kept to a high standard. My Mum and myself were very happy with his care.

My mother spent the last 4 years of her life at Grosvenor House. She was unable to communicate properly and was bedridden for all of that time. The staff and care were wonderful and although she couldn't socialise with the other residents they went to great lengths to keep her cheerful and included.
It was obvious that all the staff from the cleaners to the nurses and managers cared deeply about the residents and their well-being. I am really pleased that we chose Grosvenor House for my mother's final years.

Mum has been a resident for almost 4 years. During that time she has been extremely well cared for including times when she has been very unwell. I have always been informed of what is happening even though the last difficult months. The home is very clean and modern and all of the staff are outstanding
in their care of the residents. They have organised so many activities for the residents whilst our contact with them has been difficult over the last months. All this has given the family peace of mind that she is well looked after and genuinely respected and loved as part of the Grosvenor family.

My mother and her sister became residents about 7 years ago and always have had excellent care.
In recent times during the Covid pandemic, the staff have worked so hard to maintain the safety of the residents whilst allowing some contact with relatives. My mother is 94 and survived Covid this January
thanks to the excellent care and careful infection control which I believe minimised the viral load my mother had to fight.
All the staff were excellent at responding to daily requests for updates on her condition despite the significant pressure they were all under. Our family cannot thank them enough.

A great care home with fantastic facilities that will always try to go above and beyond what is expected. The response to the Covid outbreak restrictions enabling residents to continue to have visits was a fantastic effort. This was something that was really appreciated by all of the family!

The care given to Auntie during her stay at Grosvenor House was outstanding. The staff were always kind, patient and compassionate, and their dedication to the well-being of all their residents is second to none, with a general willingness to go that extra mile. An exceptional support network is extended
to family members too and they are always warmly welcomed, informed, and consulted. Throughout the Covid pandemic and the subsequent restrictions, staff have worked tirelessly to maintain as much family contact, as possible whilst ensuring the safety of all concerned. I am so grateful that Auntie was able to spend her final months in the care of the Grosvenor House 'family' and I cannot thank them enough for all they did for her. Five-star treatment indeed.

I cannot praise Grosvenor care home enough for everything they have done during this horrendous pandemic. My dad has been cared for in this past month very well, he had to self isolate, which was hard for him, but he is now getting back to his usual self with help from everyone there. I cannot praise
the staff enough, they deserve medals. I can fully recommend the home to anyone that asked without any doubt.

The care given to Mum went above and beyond at Grosvenor. Every member of staff knew Mum and knew me. It truly felt as though we were among a very caring, yet extremely professional family group. My mum moved into Grosvenor during the first lockdown, which was difficult as a family. We were unable to meet the staff and even see mum's room. Both mum and us were supported through this with video calls and nothing being too much trouble. Even during lockdown, we were made to feel part of everything.
My mum thrives in this environment coming on in leaps and bounds. I can't thank the home and staff team enough. Knowing mum is settled, happy and safe is the best feeling, knowing we made the right decision for mum.

Mum has been here since April 2020. She arrived in lockdown with dementia.
Mum settled in really well and the staff here have been simply amazing. They have made every effort to ensure we remained in contact with her as much as possible through the various stages of lockdown. Window visits, video
calls and even outside meets. Nothing has been too much trouble. They have supported us through some tough times, really helping us come to terms with mum's illness as it has developed. We can’t wait for the day that Covid is gone and we can finally get to enjoy seeing Mum in her new home for real. Thanks for everything. And keep up the amazing work.

Hello everyone!
I have absolutely loved getting to know our residents and hearing them tell me stories from when they were younger, some of them even involving my own family members!
A lot of you may know me (or my voice) from our much-loved video calls, but haven’t met me in person yet!


My role at Grosvenor House is well-being, Engagement and Communication. This means that my focus is to help bridge the gap between us and you with the use of our video calls and social media pages and to work closely with our residents and our team to create impactful opportunities to promote their well-being.


I am looking forward to meeting you all properly when the opportunity arises and getting to know you all!

Hello! Coming to be part of The Grosvenor House Family was a huge challenge for me, after being a childminder for 17 years!


I am in the offices at Grosvenor House and it is normally me you will be talking to when you call our home!


It has been amazing to meet so many lovely families since I have been here and I am looking forward to meeting more!

Mike Masri

Job Title: Head Chef Joined: 2022

Mike has been a valued member of the Grosvenor House Care Home team since 2022. With a deep passion for creating nutritious, home-cooked meals.


He brings both heart and expertise to every dish he prepares.


Mike is dedicated to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, working closely with trusted butchers and fishmongers to ensure the highest quality in the meals he prepares.


His menus are a delightful balance of comforting traditional favourites and exciting new flavours, thoughtfully tailored to suit the tastes and dietary needs of everyone we support.


Mike also enjoys designing seasonal menus that celebrate the best of each time of year, and he brings a touch of creativity and flair to every plate. One of the highlights for many families is his popular fine dining evenings, where residents and their loved ones can enjoy a special restaurant-style experience within the home.


With extensive culinary experience, advanced cooking qualifications, and a genuine love for what he does, Mike plays a key role in making daily life at Grosvenor House both nourishing and enjoyable.

Jamie

Jamie Denman

Job Title: Clinical Lead Joined: 2021

Jamie has been part of the Grosvenor House Care Home team since 2021 and brings a lifetime of experience in the health and social care sector. As our Clinical Lead, she plays a vital role in ensuring that every person receives the highest standard of care, delivered with compassion, dignity, and respect.


With a career dedicated to helping others, Jamie is deeply passionate about making a difference—she finds joy in bringing smiles to people’s faces and creating meaningful connections with residents and their families. Her calm, caring presence and clinical expertise make her a trusted leader and a much-loved member of our team.


Outside of work, Jamie embraces the spirit of adventure. She loves travelling around Europe in her campervan, exploring new places, kayaking on peaceful waters, and, most proudly, spending time as a devoted grandma.


Jamie’s commitment to both her professional role and personal passions brings a wonderful balance to our home, and we’re lucky to have her guiding our care with such warmth and dedication.

Hi! I have been part of the Grosvenor House Family since 2018. And it has become just that, my extended family. To me, care is not a job for just a wage, it is a career that you have to feel in your heart and you do it for the love and passion you feel for looking after someone.


Seeing our residents smile, laugh and have fun fills me with the best feeling and I know that I have done my job. Even if that means dressing up as a unicorn or the Easter Bunny!


This is the job I was made to do!
