Very happy with the care Mum receives. The carers genuinely care about Mum and regularly keep me up to date with how she's doing and report any concerns. The food there is excellent and the staff are friendly and cheerful.
Thank you very much for your review. Our staff will be delighted with your kind words.
There is nothing staff at Meadow View Care Home will not do to make my brother’s stay comfortable. Well done to all staff nurses and management to make the care, food, and activities and facilities second to none. Thank you!
Meadow View Care Home has unbelievably progressed into a fantastic, welcoming, clean and tidy care home. The care and food are amazing just like how Nan likes it. The staff are wonderful and caring as well as hardworking and helpful. I am so happy and reassured that my grandmother is happy and well cared for. Well done to the staff who care so passionately.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! Our staff feel proud and appreciated. Thank you!
Cottage staff are friendly, approachable and caring. The staff are welcoming, warm, clean and it had a nice homely feel to it. Food is always served hot and varied and her room is clean. You can add personal items to your room to make them feel settled.
The notice board show a variety of activities that they can participate in. The nurses/staff have been the same since we arrived, which shows stability and familiar faces to the patients, making them feel at ease. My nan doesn't seem to appreciate what a nice place Cottage is due to her illness. It's important and we know that she's being well looked after.
The care staff treat my 85-year-old mother with care and dignity and she also has a really good relationship with them all. The girl on reception always makes you feel at home and even offers me a cup of coffee - now that's service. Thanks for all you do for our mum, she deserves the best and in you, we found the best.
The home is cheerful and welcoming and they genuinely care about their residents here. My grandad's favourite space is the garden as it is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We are happy that he is looked after well mentally and physically.
The Cottage Nursing Home is a well-managed home. Staff are excellent and my Grandma is looking healthier and happy. We were honoured when the chef made us a cake to celebrate my Grandmas birthday. It was thoughtful and delicious. In general, this place offers delicious food it is so good that me and the family could eat it every day. There's a new pub inside the home it's great for family reunions.
All the staff, without exception, are kind and considerate and attend to my friends needs promptly. I have been made very welcome and that is important because it shows that they treat everyone the same here. Finding a home that is this dedicated if very rare.
I tend to visit the care home every month as I'm very local and always feel greeted here. The staff continuously invite me to activities which is nice of them. The cottage is a Beautiful and clean home.
My father is extremely happy here and he is well looked after. Well run home and interesting activities daily for families.
Beautiful home with excellent facilities. Staff are very pleasant and attentive. My friend receives outstanding care.
Many thanks for all the support. Staff are great and my friend looks better. Food is tasty. Decorations look beautiful.
I am very happy for my cousin. My relative has settled in very well. Staff are caring and friendly. The activities here are good. I get to spend quality time with her. Cannot fault the home in any way. Well done The Cottage.
He is happy here and we couldn’t thank them enough.
My fiance and I find it very easy to communicate with The Cottage staff are always helpful. We are very comfortable with my mother in law staying there because we are aware of the outstanding care that is provided here. Thankful to all the staff.
My uncle who is in his 70s has been at The Cottage since last year. The care and attention he has received have been excellent. The home is clean, no foul smells, always has a fresh smell, the staff are professional, pleasant and courteous. Not just to us visitors but the way they care and nurse my uncle. He loves the food which is freshly prepared and presented beautifully.
It has not been a difficult decision for our family to decide this is where our he will spend his final days. Knowing he will be well cared for and nursed to a very high standard and treated with the dignity he deserves as his time on this earth comes to an end.
This home is managed by very competent and empathetic staff and nurses with huge experience. They understand what is required when looking after the frail and elderly. They offer very personalised care. Grandpa decides what he likes and when he wants to wake up. The manager sets a high standard and his staff follow suit. Home is lead positively.
In addition to care and the ancillary staff, there's always at least one qualified nurse on duty day and night. They cater for all types of disability including palliative care.
Activities are great. There is a Calendar of Events - theme nights, sing-a-longs, art classes, quizzes and pub/club outings. There's even a free bar in The Cottage - how good is that? And all the usual services including an in-house hairdresser. Lots of places to sit, including a courtyard and a garden area. Meals are wholesome and staff will assist residents with feeding.
Overall, a great care home with caring staff and I would recommend you put it on your list to visit.
Thank you for taking time out to give us positive feedback. It means a lot to our staff.
I would like to thank The Cottage Nursing Home for being extremely helpful. My father is better emotionally and psychically as much as it is touching for me and my family this place has definitely smoothed the past for us.
The home is warm and welcoming, people here are happy and kind.
My grandmama is looked after well here.
My great Aunt stays at the cottage nursing home. Its been really hard for us as a family but when we go to visit my Aunt, she seems to be happy and enjoys the cottages company a lot. She's made lots of friends and memories and this is amazing for us. We have also attended a few events that they have organised and it's been a pleasure to take part in. So welcoming. I'm submitting this review on behalf of myself and my family so that everyone else could see how we highly speak of the cottage nursing home. Thank you to all staff especially one member who is incredibly helpful.
