  • Thank you for requesting a tour of Kara Healthcare! The team are looking forward to welcoming you. The tour will last around 30 minutes and can accommodate up to 4 people. They’ll take you through the care home, showing you the resident rooms, communal spaces, and the wonderful facilities. You’ll also meet some of the friendly team members and learn about the personalised care they provide. Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure they can start on time. They can’t wait to meet you, show you around, and answer any questions you may have!

My mum was recently a resident at this care home. I will start by saying some of the carers were very good with my mum . The events coordinator absolutely supper .
We had several issues with this care home regarding mums health. Nurses did not pick up when she had cellulitis which can turn to sepsis.
Water infection which is a common condition with dementia patients. She had plisters on her hands from constantly working around with her simmer frame. Which I was constantly cleaning and asking for padded plasters for to stop further infections. I also needed to bandaged my mums ankle because she was in pain. All of the above issues was picked up by family , NOT by staff . My mum's mental health has declined since being in that home.
Also we noticed that her buzzer was out of reach most nights. Food was of poor quality . the manager had a bad attitude towards family members. Would not recommend this home . Staff Not trained adequately for Dementia patients.

Mum had a week respite care here, while I had a week away. I spoke to her a few times while away and she was very happy. She said the staff were great and so was the food. I would be happy to use this care home again. Many thanks.

My mother in law stayed here for a couple of weeks after months in hospital. She came to the home in a terrible state, but these people were amazing from start to finish.
My mother inlaw had very advanced dementia, had to be fed and completely immobile, these beautiful angels ensured she was always
clean, hair washed. Always encouraged her to eat...although not alot, they tried, sat with her, sang to her. I can honestly say they treated her like their own family member.
Although immobile, they got her out of bed and included her in activity days.
She passed away on May 10th, but the care given there by all staff was exceptional. Im so glad she got out of hospital and managed to get into this very friendly, loving and well run home.
Cannot express how grateful us as a family are to all at Park house.
So much love and thanks to you all xx

This is a very nice and clean care home. All the staff seem to know and care after my mum. The room is clean but sometimes they forget to clean the bathroom properly. The food is nice but could be improved. Where I do get upset is the high costs that go with the care.

Amazing care home with very high standards when it comes to care and cleanliness and other areas.
I visited my nan a couple times a week and I always had a great experience and the staff would always make me very welcomed when visiting my nan.

My mum was well looked after and the staff were all amazing. I highly recommend this care home. I staked this care home out for the first 2 weeks at the beginning going all different times due to the bad stories you hear, but I couldn't find fault with anything.
The main thing was the place was clean
and the staff were amazing from start to finish.

My dad has recently come into the care home and so far not overall bad, now his pain management is sorted after a conversation with SCA. All staff are friendly and welcoming. The home is warm and comforting.

A pleasant environment with very kind and caring staff. Everywhere is clean and

My mum recently became a resident, she came from another residential home. I have noticed my mum is cleaner, with bedding changed regularly. She seems calmer in herself. The food always looks and smells delicious. There are always staff present to speak with.

Park House has a wonderful and dedicated team of people who work in harmony to provide the very best care for residents and visitors. Me and my siblings are happy with the professional care Mum has always received at Park House since she arrived back in 2017.
Mum is well looked after and cared for and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to when we visit.

Always polite staff when have contact, don't really get any update on what great aunty has been up to. Room is always clean and tidy, would like a bit more communication on visit on how she is doing and anything we could do to support.

My partner went into Park House Care Home end of September and was there until he passed away peacefully on the 10th of December at 4.30 pm. I can only say we had excellent service from the manager the managerial staff, the nurses and cares. My partners time was pleasant relaxing and he was truly cared
for until the end. During his stay we were able to have a Birthday Party for him organised by the coordinator of entertainment for the patients and residents. The environment is non other than perfect. The cleanliness is exceptional. Everyone was friendly and obliging from the minute we stepped through the door until we left quietly and peacefully with my partner and the funeral director. Thank You Park House for looking after my partner and best friend.

Very good, caring staff. They do good activities. The staff are always smiling and welcoming. The management team update us with all news and they are happy to help. Mum really is enjoying it there. They do vegetarian food as well. They do cinema/museum and shopping trips as well.

Friendly staff and homely feel. I know my mum is well looked after and cared for here.
They have regular entertainment and my mum is encouraged to join in, even though she never remembers, but their social media page posts regular updates.

Thank you for the compassionate, professional care that my aunt received during her stay at Park House. Communication was always excellent, and staff always had time to talk and make the family welcome when visiting. I have no doubt that Auntie was well cared for. She was always relaxed and peaceful.
Her end-of-life care was also met with dignity and great communication, which allowed her family to be with her. A wonderful place and staff.

Grandma has been in residence for just over a month. From first visit, I have received a warm welcome from all staff. All asking how I am and if I needed anything. The staff are so friendly and caring towards grandma. Nothing is too much trouble. We are so pleased that Grandma is at Park House. The
room Grandma is in is always clean and tidy. The food is all home cooked and it smells and looks delicious.

Wasiu has many qualifications such as a BSc in Business Management and IT, an NVQ Level 4 Adult and an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.


Outside of care, Wasiu is an avid reader and loves listening to music. He especially enjoys watching and playing football.
