Forest Manor Nursing Home

I'm at peace knowing my mother-in-law is well looked after by all the staff.

Dad is settled at Forest Manor, the care is good, we have no concerns.

All staff are friendly, caring and compassionate. The home never has any unpleasant odours. I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Forest Manor to anyone wanting brilliant care in a nursing home.

The care that my mother is given is excellent, the staff in all departments are excellent. The care staff deliver wonderful care and take time to speak to families making us aware if any problems arise.

My mum remains well due to the nursing team reacting to any symptoms quickly.

My family all recommend Forest Manor to all friends that are looking for a nursing home.

As my Dad has been seriously ill over the last few months and after returning from hospital, the staff at Forest Manor have been fantastic and supportive with Dad and family. The staff have made fantastic efforts to get Dad to eat and drink and have enabled Dad to get on the road to recovery.

Dad is well looked after at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Excellent choice of food and the Sunday roast is great. Dad has been a smoker for many years and he is able to still enjoy this as there is a smoking area which makes him happy.

Excellent facilities with friendly and caring staff who make the care home feel like one big happy family. The best care home of all, in my opinion.

My grandmother has been very ill this year but thanks to Forest Manor staff she was encouraged with drink and diet and no longer suffers from continuous water infections they pick up on things early.

All the staff are friendly and helpful, my mum is well looked after, she especially enjoys the entertainment. What a wonderful nursing home.

My Mother came into Forest Manor, following a bad experience at another nursing home. I came to visit this nursing home manager and was immediately impressed and reassured my Mother would be looked after excellently well and this was to be the case. My Mother is very happy here (she is very hard to please!) she enjoys the company and her daily newspapers, delivered to her, and always having her hair done weekly.

I had to make a life-changing decision to choose a permanent home for my Mum. The decision was a heavy burden as Mum was unable to give me input. When I chose Forest Manor I felt it shone out particularly with the staff. The Manager and a nurse assessed Mum and they really impressed Mum. A weight was lifted. When Mum was eventually transferred the staff were outstanding in friendliness and very warm. They put Mum at ease immediately. This is not a job to us, it is a life changing moment and I cannot thank the staff enough for their genuine care. It is extremely well managed and Mom is settling in nicely. She said, "you have chosen well".

My husband has been in Forest Manor for over a year and I can honestly say he is well looked after by all the staff. I am very happy with his care.

The staff are excellent as I have stated in the questionnaire and are all a credit to Asha Healthcare even thou you find one or two that give that little extra.

During the six weeks my mother has been at Forest Manor I have found the care she has received to be excellent. Both staff and management have been friendly and caring. Nothing too much trouble for them. The home was recommended to us and will also be recommended by us to others.
