Lawn Park Care Home

My father was a resident and Lawn Park from 27th of September 2021 - 1st of September 2022. during his time he was treated with kindness and with dignity. During the last few weeks of his life the staff were very compassionate remaining with him when I was not visiting. When he died the staff were with him. They were very attentive to his needs and ensured he was comfortable. The staff were also attentive to me which made a difficult time easier to bear.

We can't recommend Lawn Park Care Home enough since being there only six weeks my father has thrived from day one he was given first class treatment, attention, made to feel loved and met a wonderful strange who became good friends. My father is well respected, cared for and always looks immaculately dressed. The staff are highly trained, hard working and the dedication they have shown to myself, my husband and father it is a credit to the manager of the home who leads her staff. Who give over 100% to look after their residents, we can't praise this care home enough. Thank you.

My wife spent two and a half years at Lawn Park Care Home at which time her room was spotless, her care was 100% and the food was perfect. I was always made welcome and it was like home to me. The management and staff were excellent and always there to help in whichever way possible, also they were very polite. This care home is five-star and beyond. Thank you all a million.

My aunt came into Lawn park in June-July 2019. Whilst she was here as a resident she had no complaints about the staff. For the last 2 years, she enjoyed her time here. I personally have no problem in saying that I was informed on a regular basis during the lockdown period the staff have done a wonderful job.

I have spent the last 12 weeks at Lawn Park Care Home. I am a lot younger than most of the residents but my time here has been good. The staff are lovely and do a very good job. I will be sorry to say goodbye.

Although my dad was a former resident they were still in contact before his visit to prepare for any changes that may be needed now. They make sure all his needs are met in a friendly welcoming manner, and also support us through reassurance, information and encouraging regular contact with my dad, even if we couldn't get there one day. We are a million % happy. Which gives us peace of mind, as we know dad is happy and safe.

Mum was in here for end-of-life care. She passed on Sunday. We can't thank the wonderful staff for the love and care they showed to mum. Many thanks to one member of staff in particular, you are a star. Thanks so much for making Mum's last few weeks so special. You have a wonderful team. So from the bottom of our hearts thanks for everything you did for mum.

The care that Dad has received has been exemplary. Although Dad has only been at the home for less than two weeks, the improvement in his health and wellbeing is fantastic. We can not fault the staff enough as nothing is ever too much bother for them.

My brother is very happy and feels safe. He is very well looked after and couldn't wish for more. Every time I have visited the staff are very friendly and caring. They always phone me to tell me how he is and if he has had the doctor or any procedure. I have no complaints at all. I think all the staff need a medal.

Respect was always shown to us with care and understanding.

She has been very well cared for. She was shown friendship, care, love and respect. Very happy to visit here and leave her in your care.

From the first conversation with the care manager and interactions with the staff, I felt confident and reassured my mum was under a high standard of care. Medical and activities of daily living catered for. The commitment of care was deserved and understanding the residents individual requirements was expressed. Time given to listen to families concerns was an optimum point of quality. My mum improved physically and medical areas of concern attended to. Thank you all, amazing.

The manager and staff take the best care of my mum. She looks so well and is always very smart in her appearance. This past year has been very difficult, but the staff at Lawn Park have been my mum's second family and I will always be grateful to them. Thank you to them all.

My gran has been at the home since September 2020. All the staff have been amazing helping her to get settled at this very difficult time. Everyone is helpful and kind. My gran is very lucky to be there.

It's been a very difficult time for all of us since March, and, in particular, for Mum, who had only just moved into Lawn Park before the lockdown was imposed. Despite all of the issues, the management and staff have worked tirelessly and professionally to make sure Mum and all the residents were as happy safe and as comfortable as possible, and I can't thank them enough. The home is run very professionally, and nothing is too much trouble. I know Mum is happy there and that means so much. The location next to the lovely park and lake is a delight, particularly in the summer.

I can't thank the staff enough for the care of my late grandmother. For making her last few days peaceful and pain-free, and for the kind care offered to my family in light of COVID, for allowing us to be there at the end.

The final thing I need to mention was the welcome and goodbye my mum received when she arrived at Lawn Park and when she left. My mum clearly felt like the queen as genuine friendliness and kindness were bestowed on her. I cannot thank the home enough for uplifting mum in such a way.

Mum has settled in very well, a nice room and the staff are all friendly and very helpful. Lovely home. We are all very satisfied.

Mum can do nothing for herself so is totally reliant on the staff for all her needs. They are brilliant. Thank you.
