The carers / service users are amazing. The home itself is clean and well looked after. Plenty of staff on hand and all were happy to assist when needed. I would definitely recommend Lowmoor.

The staff are amazing, today I was met by Paul the staff nurse and he spoke to me for over 15 minutes which again put my mind at ease regarding mum.

My sister was a resident in Lowmoor from August until November 2024, when she sadly passed away. The care she received was excellent. The atmosphere is homely and welcoming. The staff are amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Hygiene and cleanliness were spot on and never once smelled. I visited every day and was made to feel welcome. The end-of-life care was thoughtful and caring towards us both. Would definitely recommend this amazing home. Thank you Lowmoor team, you really are the best.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We appreciate how hard it can be having to place a loved one in care so are delighted that you feel so strongly about making the right decision and found the atmosphere homely and welcoming when visiting daily. Your kind words will be passed on to our team at Lowmoor and thanks once again.
They are very nice and good with the people and keep them clean. My husband likes it and they make me very welcome. I am his wife and have been with him for 46 years and got married in 2006.
We would like to thank you for your kind words and for choosing Lidder Care.
My husband moved to Lowmoor from its sister home in October 2023. His condition had deteriorated and it was a very stressful time. I received tremendous support from management and staff at both homes to make the transfer as smooth as possible. He has settled in well due to the dedication, love and care of the whole Lowmoor team. His face lights up when he sees his favourite carers and I can leave him at the end of a visit without. Lowmoor is well staffed and there is always a qualified nurse on duty on each floor. If a medical issue arises action is taken quickly and my husband's health is reviewed regularly in conjunction with the local surgery. When recommendations are made by other health professionals, they are swiftly acted upon. All the staff are so welcoming and I am so grateful to everyone at Lowmoor for their support and for giving my husband the expert care that I cannot. I cannot thank everyone enough.
All of us at Lidder Care would like to thank you for such a kind and thoughtful review. We are so happy that your husband was able to make the transition to Lowmoor when his needs changed and you found the transfer smooth and received tremendous support. We will pass on your comments to our skilled care teams and thanks once again.
My dad always looks clean.
Nothing is too much trouble.
The home always smells pleasant.
From everyone at Lowmoor, we would like to thank you for leaving such a wonderful review of our home. I will make sure to pass your comments on to our hard-working and dedicated team.
The staff are absolutely incredible, a credit to the home.
The understanding care and kindness my husband receives could not be better. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
We would like to thank you for such a warm and heartfelt review. It can be such a difficult decision placing a loved one in care, and we are humbled that you find such comfort in knowing your husband is in a caring and safe environment that can cater for his needs.
I feel comfortable that my husband is being looked after in their care.
Thank you.
Lastly: the meals they are serving are not of a high standard. Cheap and poor quality.
Sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations, however, we feel it essential to provide additional context to ensure a balanced view. Lowmoor provides specialist care and we encourage residents to maintain independence and dignity. Residents shower independently if they are able to do so,...
Clean and tidy, good staff.
Thank you for leaving a positive review. Cleanliness is very important in a care home and we always maintain high standards. We also pride ourselves on being tidy, this is especially important with dementia clients as busy areas can get confusing! Thank you also for your comment about our staff, they will be happy to hear their hard work is being recognised.
