Visited while another resident celebrating wedding anniversary. Wonderful. Nice buffet, pleasant and attentive carers, nothing too much trouble. You can tell when staff really care, not just there for the job.

We have always found the staff caring and helpful when needed. On occasions when visiting Dad we have found his hygiene and general appearance a lot to be desired. However, this has been mentioned to the staff. Although the clothes in Dad's room are plentiful, a lot of them are not his. His own clothes are not left neat and tidy. The attitude to Dad has always been patient and understanding by the staff.

Reply from Jo York, Administrator at Lowmoor Nursing Home

Thank you for your comments. We take all concerns very seriously and I will look into this matter regarding your fathers' clothes.

Staff seem friendly, could do with age-appropriate music in lounge. Quite dark in lounge. Could do with more interaction with residents. Overall seems like a very nice home.
