Excellent, staff are kind.
Treated very well. Always happy to help you. Go above and beyond.
My mother-in-law came to you for a short time as she was nearing the end of life. I cannot praise each and every one of your staff we were made to more than welcome we felt comfortable all staff treated us with respect they couldn't do enough for us. They kept us going with tea coffee biscuits never too busy to speak to us always a smile absolutely marvellous I know what pressure you can be under in your line of work as I've been there myself you really are brilliant your staff put faith back into carers. The dignity and respect you showed to my mother-in-law was second to none - you all should be proud of yourselves x
I could not have wished for a better place for mum.
Very good, kind and caring. The best you can get.
Everyone who works here is a credit to Meadowbank.
They are so kind and thoughtful in their attitude to everyone.
I am very happy with the care my grandmother receives. I have no concerns. They keep me informed in regards to my Nan's health and I would not hesitate to recommend the home to other people. I would like to see more activities on for the residents.
The activities around the home are great fun for everyone.
Great variety of meals to choose from as well.
Our father was in Meadow Bank home for ten years, until he passed away early April.
My mother has been here 18 months and has shown lots of improvement, she was very reluctant to move into a home but is now really happy. The staff are lovely and always treat her with care and respect. She is well cared for whilst maintaining her independence I would happily recommend Meadowbank.
She has implemented her ideas and the staff seem much more content.
There is always a happy atmosphere in the home, plenty of activities and the care is second to none.
My Granddad is nearly 93 and has been here over a year now and is very happy and well looked after.
The staff are very good and nothing is too much trouble, I am certainly satisfied with the home, the management and the care workers.
Thank you.
This is a lovely home, the staff are brilliant and they can't do enough really for my mum. They have brought my mum out of herself, which is great. I have no complaints at all, very happy overall with the service provided.
The care she received was excellent, the staff showed great compassion and dignity. The home was pleasant, clean, friendly and was a great comfort at such a difficult time. Myself and my family would like to thank all at Meadow Bank and would recommend to anyone looking for care for a loved one.
Meadow Bank is a good care home with caring staff from carers, office staff, entertainment staff are superb rooms are lovely and clean. Clothes washed nicely. My mother is in late stages of dementia but is quite happy at Meadow Bank Care Home.
My mother was 3 years in this home until she died recently. She was well cared for and always enjoyed the food.. We did observe a decline from November 2015 to February 2016 where the manager left suddenly and also a lot of staff left but it settled down. The staff were very caring and attentive as she faded away. One thing I feel prospective residents/relatives should be aware of is that the fees for a private payer are high compared to most other Bolton homes - we were paying £840 per week plus the home also received £110 from the NHS. My mums circumstances when she was admitted were that she was funded by the NHS so we were unaware of the fees until she no longer qualified for full NHS help. As she had settled by then there was no choice but to pay this amount, even when I pointed out the vast majority of other homes also rated good by CQC, charged much less-other homes charging £550 -£650 a week. So we were happy with the care which is key, but concerned at the cost which did not seem fair.
Thank you for your positive feedback regarding the care provided at Meadow Bank. We are sorry for your loss but pleased that you feel your mother had a good standard of care at the home. We note your comments about the fees. We do regularly review fees in the local area to ensure we are...
Had major issues with standard of care- meals and staff when mum became resident here. Since the new lady became manager she has turned things around for the better. Issues still arise but are dealt with immediately by the manager. All staff are very helpful from admin, to manager to nursing staff and carers.
I personally have always found Meadow Bank care home to be clean and spotless. All the staff have been polite to speak to and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone in the home is treated with respect and kindness. All the staff deserve praise for all the hard work they do.
Very well satisfied.
I have found the nursing home ideal for my mother. The staff are wonderful and go the extra mile to make her comfortable. The rooms are light, airy and clear. The whole place is warm and everyone appears happy.
