Meadow Bank House Care Home is a safe and secure place for anyone who is in need of care. The home is so lovely and the staff here are so hardworking. The home has a team of nurses who are so passionate in doing their job, humble and they are very respectful when communicating with their service users and visitors. Above all, I can say the home delivers a good standard of care.

Lovely home. Nurses, carers, kitchen staff, cleaners, laundry staff, seniors and management are all very professional and are genuine of a caring nature. The atmosphere in the home is good and uplifting. Residents are happy and relaxed and are always clean and respectable. Their dignity is always the number one priority. The activities are good and get residents involved i.e. music to sports games, board games etc. I would recommend Meadow Bank to anyone looking for an excellent standard care home.

My mother moved into Meadow Bank House Care Home in September 2018 after spending several months in hospital. She suffers from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) which means she needs constant oxygen, which is very testing, even for the most experienced staff. This means Mum has more care needs than the average person in the home. The staff here are always on the ball, nothing is too much trouble and Mum feels happy and well looked after. The only negative thing I can say is that the few jobs that need doing/fixing are never done quickly, but this is due to maintenance and not the carers and nurses.

Reply from Clare Sheehan, Careline Advisor at Meadow Bank House Care Home

Thank you so much for the lovely compliments, it means a lot to me and the staff team at Meadow Bank to read such lovely feedback about your thoughts and your mother’s views of our home, we are very grateful. I am sorry that you are not happy with the time it takes to get some jobs done. I have...

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff, they have been amazing with both my mum and family, we all feel so happy and content with the placement. The home is so clean and fresh with no malodorous smells. Everyone is so kind and caring and Mum is so well cared for. The atmosphere is brilliant and the entertainment is unbelievable. Once again a big thank you for all your kindness and care, this is well appreciated for a hard job done so well.

I am extremely pleased with the improvement in the health of my friend since her arrival at Meadow Bank House Care Home several months ago. I have found the staff to be very caring and competent. They are always helpful and ready to go the extra mile. My friend is very satisfied with the meals and drinks that are provided and I believe she would agree with the scores I have given here. If in the future, I needed residential care, I hope it will be somewhere like Meadow Bank House Care Home.

My mum has been well looked after and her health has improved since she came to this care home in July. She has eaten better and become more engaged with people. The company has done her good. The staff are all very helpful and obliging and keep our family informed.

Meadow Bank House does not feel like a care home but feels like Mum's home. Whilst the facilities, cleanliness, activities etc are all first rate, what makes the place so special is the staff. Mum, sadly, has had to move to palliative care and not only have the staff looked after her wonderfully, sympathetically and caringly, but they have been so kind and supportive to us, her family. We could not have wished for more.
