After visiting my mum on Tuesday I went in to speak to the manager to thank her for the care that my mum is being given, she hadn't been well during the week and the GP had to be called out, thankfully she is now improving. We her family were kept up to date including a call from the GP. I cannot praise the staff enough for the care they give my mum, the manager is very approachable if you wish to raise any issue's and more importantly takes action. Excellent Care Home!
I am pleased your mum is recovering from her recent illness and the staff kept you and your family up to date following the GP visit. Thank you for your positive comments in regards to the manager and staff team, we will ensure this is passed on to them.
My mum is in Cameron House at present and has been very poorly. The staff have all been amazing making sure she is comfortable and all her needs are met.
My mum has received the best of care at Cameron House. The staff have been/are lovely with her and I have always found her to be well looked after and content. She does complain about the food but she has never been keen on meals and cooking herself so I don't take a lot of notice of that!
The Home Manager, the team and I are so pleased to hear that your Mum has received the best of care at Cameron House and that she is happy here. We understand that your Mum has never been keen on cooking or food in general, but we will continue to do our best to find alternatives for your Mum to be able to enjoy. Thank you again for your feedback, which we really appreciate.
They communicated well with me any time they had a concern or question regarding my mum and her care and gave me a warm welcome each time I visited.
The Staff here I feel are quite unique, they are warm, friendly, humerus and seem happy in their work which is lovely for the residents and creates a lovely atmosphere for the home.
If its 5 star luxury you want this is not the home for you however if you want genuine love, care and respect for your loved one i would not hesitate to recommend Cameron House.
Thank you so much:)
It's her first month in care, so a bit strange for her but she seems to have settled down over time. The staff are very good with her and treat her with respect and dignity. They are also welcoming when I visit and I feel relaxed when I'm there.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. It's good to see that your friend has settled well now and that the team have helped you to feel relaxed when you visit. With best wishes, Group Business Development Director
My Mum settled very well into Cameron House, made possible by the care and kindness of the manager and her team. I too was also made to feel welcome, and still am whenever I visit. Although not the most palatial of homes, that stands for nothing when compared to the level of care and friendliness of staff. (A lick of paint wouldn't go amiss though Rose-berry care, it'd sticky!). Keep doing what you do Cameron House team, I appreciate all that you do for Mum and me. Thank you.
Dad's condition meant that he became quite a difficult patient requiring complex care needs. During his time at Cameron House he has been cared for by an exceptional, dedicated nursing team, who have at all times treated him with dignity, and compassion. The home is run by a lovely Manager who would put down what she was doing in order to answer any queries that we had.
This home makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door, and the team as a whole from administration, nursing, cleaning, and catering staff go out of their way to assist with anything you require.
Thank You Cameron House for making what was a very difficult journey for our family more bearable through your guidance and knowledge.
I can recommend Cameron House without reservation and cannot thank all the staff enough for their kindness.
My mum has been a resident at Cameron House since August 2023. She was very distressed to be there initially, due to the onset on dementia. The staff worked hard to settle her and make her feel welcome and comfortable. The staff are lovely, very caring and professional. They have taken time to get to know her and help her with all her care needs. The home is well run and managed and any issues I have had, albeit small things, have been addressed promptly. I feel reassured that all the residents receive the care attention they need and deserve.
Thank you for your lovely comments, I am so pleased Mum has settled at Cameron House. I will pass your feedback to the team.
The carers are very understanding of her/everyones needs.

My Dad has been in the care home for two years now and the staff are lovely, very caring and professional, they have got to know him very well and do their best to make his day brighter. The home is well run and managed and follows policies and procedures correctly. I know that dad is in very good hands.

Our mum has been a resident since July 2023. This is my first care home experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The care of our mum has been good and consistent. Any issues we raised initially about care were addressed and managed thereafter.
Thank you for taking the time to review Cameron House. It is lovely to hear that the care received has been good. I hope Mum is settling into her new home.

Staff and management have been very good in catering and sorting out my partner's needs and things done as soon as possible. The food has been good and he has not been over-faced. Staff are all very pleasant and say hello as soon as they see you.

Thank you so much for your kind review. I will pass your comments to the team.
I had not been to visit for over a year due to Covid. Before I saw my grandmother I was briefed by the manager who kindly told me what to expect, this was a great help and prepared me. When I went in my grandmother was propped up in bed, very comfortable and clean and tidy, washed and hair brushed. The staff are all very kind and caring, there is a good standard of care. The home is always clean and smells nice. The manager and office staff always explain and pass on information. The nurse is a lovely, caring person.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, it is very much appreciated. I will pass this onto the staff team.
This care home is very thorough in how they care for my mother. I can find no fault of any kind with them.
