Staff are very professional in all aspects of care.
Thank you for your review; we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Our Wellbeing Co-ordinator arranges activities for the home, providing each Resident with a weekly planner of all forthcoming activities. Your Mother likes to be involved in these activities and is taken in her chair to attend, should she so choose. She also enjoyed our recent Open Day and participated in the sing-along and outdoor activities. Our activities are over when you visit around tea time but please be reassured we do provide one to one pampering regularly. Our care staff pay close attention to the emotional needs of all our Residents, including your Mother, such as holding her hand when she indicates a need for this. Please don’t hesitate to liaise with Home Management should you have any concerns; we are always happy to help
Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you are so pleased with the care your relative is receiving at Averill House. The issue of missing hearing aid, teeth and glasses had not been brought to our attention, however, the home manager and her staff team have been made aware of these concerns and are taking action to ensure they are addressed as a matter of urgency. We encourage relatives to speak to the home manager or person in charge whilst visiting the home if there are any areas of concern so that we can take immediate action.
