Excellent security, both in and out. My brother-in-law always seems clean and comfortable. His general well-being appears to have improved since arriving at the home. The staff are always courteous, efficient and have a ready smile. My wife and I are so pleased with his general situation. Shortage of visitors' chairs.

When my Mum arrived at Brocklehurst from another home, we assumed she was nearing her end.

The improvement in her was almost immediate and she soon became her old self again. She had a connection with every member of the care team and each had their own unique relationship with Mum - which meant life for her at Brocklehurst varied as much as can be expected. The staff are brilliant and we as visitors became close to them and were able to share honest and frank conversations about how Mum was doing. When Mum was in hospital, the staff were asking about her - and Mum was asking about the Brocklehurst staff! We couldn't have wished for a more friendly and attentive set of carers.

My well cared for Aunt is all that is important to my family. I can happily rest knowing she is cared for in every aspect.
A difficult patient, but every step of the way from Reception, Nurses, Carers, Domestics and the atmosphere is perfect.
I have no doubts whatsoever in recommending Brocklehurst.

Big thanks as always.

Lovely care home with excellent carers who put the needs of the residents first. The home is very clean thanks to the dedicated cleaners. The nurses are brilliant and go above and beyond for the residents. The food is tailored to the resident's needs and the residents have a great lot of choices for all their meals. There are activities every day to keep them entertained. And due to covid regulations, they allow me to see my loved one in a visiting schedule. The management has done its best under challenging covid19 circumstances.

My nana has been here for a couple of years now. I cannot fault the home or the staff, they are all very friendly and I know that my nana couldn't be in a better place. They look after her so well and make time for all their residents.

Brocklehurst is a lovely home, principally because of the lovely staff. My aunt was a long-time resident until she died a few days ago. She was always extremely happy at Brocklehurst and the staff there do much to generate a real family community. My aunt had speech difficulties and was not always the easiest to understand, but the staff took time to listen to her. In fact, they knew and understood her well within about 24 hours of her arrival and the care and friendship she received was just what she needed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and the property always looked and smelled clean and well looked after.
All the residents seemed to be well known and understood by the staff - and clearly loved.

Thank you, Brocklehurst.

I sadly recently lost my mother whilst she was residing at Brocklehurst. Carers knew my Mum very well and were attentive, kind and patient at all times. Mum was settled and happy. The Nursing Staff were brilliant as her health significantly deteriorated and I was kept fully informed as to how she would be cared for in her final weeks, and as a family, we were treated with great compassion and kindness. Everyone gave us immense support throughout, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocklehurst Nursing Home.

My father recently moved from hospital after a prolonged period of ill health to Brocklehurst Nursing Home.
Since this time, he is now much improved and stable. He has settled very well into his new home and he is very relaxed and very well cared for. The carers know the residents very well and the nursing staff are very experienced and approachable.

The home has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff within all the departments make you feel welcome and included in terms of updates and meetings.

Very poor care home. Please don't send any member of your family or friends to this home, you will be deeply unsatisfied. A dirty place not cleaned on a regular basis. My mum was in a room with ensuite. The toilet seat was cracked the toilet didn't flush when brought to their attention nothing was done for three weeks. The toilet seat was changed but the flush still didn't work I have taken my mum out of this home. I advise you not to even consider this home.
