Nestled close to the market town of Ashton-under-Lyne in Hurst Cross, Kings Park care home offers personalised dementia care to older people.

Having recently benefitted from a beautiful refurbishment, Kings Park offers a range of tastefully decorated, beautiful en-suite rooms and a host of communal areas including a hair salon. The home also has it's own minibus for day trips out.

On top of this, Kings Park residents also benefit from a range of lovely dining areas where they can relax and enjoy an intimate dining experience with family and friends. In addition to the popular dining rooms, residents can also enjoy mealtimes in the peaceful patio area, with views of the nearby park. During the decline of my mother, the staff have been exemplary in their conduct whilst giving Mother the care, welfare and dignity she unquestionably requires. Friendly and welcoming, without the devotion shown we would be in a dire state without these angels. Marks out of 10? It's eleven from me. Thank

My dad has been in Kings Park since October 2024. I feel they take really good care of my dad. They always let me know when there are any concerns and keep me updated on how he is. Knowing he is cared for puts my mind at ease and I would highly recommend Kings Park.

We are incredibly grateful for the level of care given to Mum.
It is important for us to know that whilst we can't be with he,r someone else is giving her the level of care we would.

It was difficult putting Dad in a car home at first because although he needed full time care. I feel he is a lot happier now and the family are at ease that he is safe and being looked after. He has had a few falls in the last couple of months and although they have been minor, we are scared he may
have one that may hurt.

The staff at Kings Park are caring, supportive and friendly. We are always welcomed with a smiley face and made to feel welcomed. We are so happy that Grandma is staying at Kings Park, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. All the residents are treated with brilliant care and attention. Grandma
has her hair and nails done and an overall better quality of life.

We are very pleased with Mum's progress and care. The food is good and the cleanliness is exceptional. We receive regular phone calls from the home to discuss Mum's care. When there is any concern and an ambulance has been called, the home let us know.

We are impressed with the care and kindness Mum receives at Kings Park. This is a very well-managed and administered facility, with skilled and compassionate staff across the board. Mum is living with severe impacts of dementia and doesn't converse much, however she responded with smiles and some positive
words whenever the staff acknowledged her. This reassured us that she trusted the staff, and at all times we witnessed her being treated with dignity and respect. As visitors, we were welcomed and treated with the same level of dignity and respect.

I moved my dad to Kings Park approximately a year ago from another home. He was not happy in his previous home and we had concerns about his safety. The difference at Kings Park is amazing, he is much happier. It is a care home where the staff care about the residents and do their best for each individual.
My dad can be challenging at times, even in his worst moments the staff are great with him and extremely patient. Putting someone in care is never easy, but it is easier when you know the home, do care, and do their best for them. I have built a good relationship with the staff and find them to be very open and honest and importantly I trust them. I highly recommend Kings Park they provide an outstanding level of care.

My mum is so happy at Kings Park. She’s laughing more, having her hair and nails done and joining in activities. The staff, office staff and managers are wonderful, they really care about the residents and are always patient and kind. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about this care home.

Our uncle moved into Kings Park in June 2023 after being unable to manage in his own home. Whilst this was a hard decision for us to make, it has been made so much easier with the quality of life he now has. The home is so well kept and is a lovely and welcoming environment. In my opinion, the staff
make this home into an outstanding home. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the attention they give the residents is amazing. Every member of staff we have seen genuinely wants to be there and this is reflected in the level of care, time and attention they give. Thank you! Highly recommend.

All I can say is that this care home is absolutely amazing; the staff, care and compassion are second to none; they have looked after my dad so we'll. I cannot put it into words, but I am hoping once he is well enough to go back after coming out of the hospital, he will be back at home in the loving
care of all the carers and the manager, but they have been amazing. I cannot recommend Kings Park Care Home enough - absolutely 5-star treatment.

Staff were very attentive at all times. My visits were at all different times and even though mass capacity varied and her behavior could be very challenging, the care shown by the staff was consistent and reassuring. In particular feedback from the activity coordinator was very helpful in colouring
our view of the variety and quality of Ma's experience at Kings Park when we are not present.

Came for party/BBQ for residents and family. Shame about the weather but despite this staff entertainment made up for this it was well worth the visit. Stayed longer at the party than I expected, then visiting in room. Overall, a very good afternoon was had by all.

My husband has been in Kings Park Care Home since February 2022. Since coming to Kings Park he has vastly improved regards to his behaviour. The nurses and staff are managing better with him, he is now eating and putting on weight. He is not distressed, he is clean, well cared for and is more settled.
I am always informed about his care and nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are superb. Very happy family.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Anna has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for residents.


Having worked at Kings Park since January 2024, Anna closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Anna remarked:


“My favourite thing about being a Home Manager is being able to support the staff, residents and relatives with all aspects of their lives, and building healthy relationships and improving lives.”


Anna has also achieved much outside of work, with her proudest achievements being completing her Masters qualification, while working full time and supporting her family.


Outside of work, Anna enjoys traveling, particularly to the US, and walking, especially with her dogs:


“My HC-One name badge says ‘I love my dogs’ - I own a doberman and a mastiff who are my pride and joy, and I even keep a photograph of them on my desk!”
