Kings Park Care Home

Lovely home for my grandma, it’s the little things they do that make them amazing, activities and such, so caring, especially during the recent hard times. Residents are treated like real people not just work.

My nana is a resident at Kings Park and her care has been exemplary. They have done everything they can to make sure that she is happy in what has been a very challenging year. She is really happy there and as a family, we know that she is safe and well looked after.

Over the past 12 months, the management and staff have done a wonderful job of keeping the residents safe. The way the home has kept us informed on the progress of COVID19 has been first class.

We have been extremely pleased with the home overall, it has taken some time for Mum to settle and the staff have supported her throughout the challenges. Although the last twelve months have been difficult with the restrictions, we have seen a notable change with the new management. Staff have communicated to family constantly, listened and been equally supportive to the family with the challenges. Having missed her 90 birthday last year, we were extremely pleased to have part of the restrictions lifted, the staff made such a wonderful day for her and her family, we will be eternally grateful for that day. They were good that is why we chose them, now we feel blessed, they are all very much our extended family. Thank you!

I am very impressed with the improvements in the home since the new management team took over. I have not been able to visit for the last year because of covid restrictions but I have been kept fully informed about my relatives care and general health, with regular calls from the manager, deputy and nurses. I'd like to say a big thank you to all the staff who have kept my relative safe throughout this awful time

I have always been greeted with respect and politeness on my visits to see my husband. I cannot thank the staff highly enough for the standard of care given to my husband especially in these most difficult of times. Thank you to you all.

We were so glad we found Kings Park. Mum has now had two birthdays during the pandemic. I was allowed inside for her 91st birthday and they all made it so special. Very safe, all covid measures in place. Mum is well looked after. Kings Park and it's wonderful team really do care.

Over the last 12 months it has been very difficult not seeing our loved ones but I can honestly say Kings Park are the best. The staff have kept us updated with calls, video calls and window visits. They have worked endlessly keeping our love ones safe whilst putting themselves at risk. I just want to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are all superheroes.

Everything about Kings Park excellent. Best thing we ever did getting a place here for our mother 2 years last October. Myself and brother have never had any need to put a complaint into management. Our mother is happy and content here at Kings Park.

They are dedicated, caring, supporting and look after my mum with utmost dignity and care. I have had amazing support too. The home itself is well managed and is spotlessly clean and well decorated for their residents. The food is wholesome and served in a lovely dining room. I have no hesitation in recommending this home.

My mother seems so much more relaxed since moving to Kinds Park. She still has moments of days of angst, but generally, they are fewer than in her previous care home. I feel a great sense of respect between carers, patients and a lot of kindness and friendliness is evident.

I am very happy that my sister has moved to Kings Park Care Home. The staff are very caring and welcoming. The atmosphere is happy so my sister is much happier and more contented. The staff are very attentive and actually do activities with the residents. On the whole, I would recommend this care home to anybody.

Can't thank the staff of Kings Park Care Home enough for the care and love they gave to my wonderful mum in her last year who sadly passed away despite all their best efforts. I know she was happy here and I couldn't have found anywhere better for her. I would recommend Kings Park Care Home to anyone now needing this level of care and can assure relatives they would have no need to worry about their loved ones.

Dad was admitted in January 2017 after a long stay in hospital and has settled within the home. He enjoys the activities the home offers. The staff are attentive and were keen to know dad's background/family etc prior to admission so they can engage him in conversation. Staff treat residents with dignity and respect. Dad says these girls are great, they look after me well. I am happy with the care he receives.

We have the best people in place from management to all of the rest of the staff to make it the best Kings Park Home in Tameside.

I can honestly say, my father is very pleased and quite happy here, thanks to the lovely care provided by all the staff.
