Our Lady of the Vale has provided first-rate care and attention to my mother. All staff are most kind and attentive. I can't praise the home and its staff highly enough.

The care and attention my mother has received for the past 2 1/2 years at Lady of the Vale has been excellent. From the management staff, nursing staff, domestic staff, kitchen staff and maintenance staff the care has been second to none. We as a family feel we have made the right choice for our mother to be cared for at this lovely home.

My mother spent the last two of her life here and the staff were wonderful. She was always clean and the bedding too was spotless. (Any "Accidents" were dealt with swiftly and with minimum fuss) The staff were endlessly patient when persuading her to eat and went to great lengths to try and help her pain-free, The overall atmosphere was one of warmth and compassion not only to her but also to the family.

Overall Experience

Quality of care, comfort, a clean and homely environment, and friendly and professional staff were my primary considerations when looking for a nursing home for my mother who had suffered a significant stroke. I am extremely satisfied and comforted by the fact that Lady of the Vale Nursing Home has exceeded both my and my mother's expectations in every regard. My mother often comments on how lucky she feels to be a resident in this nursing home.

Excellent home wth very caring staff. I work in the south of the UK as a chartered building surveyor and undertake refurbishment works for many homes. Whilst I deal with good homes, Our Lady of the Vale is by far the best one.

There is a warm welcome from entering the home with well trained and caring staff from the management to the whole structure of caring. Ask and you will receive immediate attention. Visitors are all welcome. I had an R.T.A. some two months ago and I've never had problems with transport. People have gone out of their way to take me safely home.
