We would like to reassure you that as soon as we were made aware of catering issues, we rectified immediately, and we now are receiving some great feedback about the catering team. Our manager has an open-door policy and would be happy to discuss any future issues you may have.
Always find the staff extremely helpful and caring, and Mum's room is always nice and clean. Mum also seems very happy, which is all that really matters.

Whenever I have visited all staff have appeared to be very kind, considerate and caring towards my relative, who can be difficult and aggressive at times. Due to her having cognitive functioning issues and feeling frightened in unfamiliar surroundings.

Overall disgusting. Poor care. Scabies. I left with bites on my hands. A lot of issues I will be reporting. Staff ringing me and being very nasty on the phone. Care is very poor, dirty. I had to have my say as my mum had no curtain on her bedroom and her room overlooks the car park.

We are surprised and concerned with the issues raised in your review with regards to care provided in the home as, since your mother became a resident in the home in May 2022, you have never raised any concerns with the manager who has an open door policy. Our Care Home Manager would be more than happy to meet with you to alleviate your concerns.

My husband has only been in the Orchard for a short time, but what a difference! He is now comfortable and cared for with dignity and respect. His needs are being met in an empathetic and caring manner, plus any needs that he has from outside agencies are included in his care. Management registered general nurses and carers are interested in his well being and ensure his needs are met. I can now sleep at night knowing my husband is in good hands. Food is exceptional too.

My aunt has only been at this home for a week. We have found the home very friendly and homely and the staff helpful and obliging. We have noticed how warm the home is, it's clean and smells nice. My aunt enjoys the food as well. We have found the staff really caring and helpful.
