The staff make or break nursing homes. In the Orchard the staff make it, they are the most helpful, polite and caring people I have met.

We walk away from the Orchard knowing our loved one is in good and safe hands.

Overall Experience

A nursing home that actually feels like home from home! The Orchard Huyton should be given as an example of how to run a home in a professional and empathetic manner! Before I found this place I was stressed as I had seen 9 other care homes and I wouldn't have used any. The staff are the most committed I have ever seen and actually use their gut instinct when they think nan is unwell but cannot find any issues. They work tirelessly day in day out - they treat my nan like their own nan and for me this is priceless - they handle her like she is a China doll - communication is daily and this I believe is because they actually made the effort to build relationships with us, wanting to know all about nan and her family - I leave the home confident that my nan is in safe hands.
