My lovely mum moved into Byron Court on December 29th from hospital. From day one I was overwhelmed by the care of my mum from the staff on floor one, they have been amazing - the nursing staff, the manager and the receptionist, the chef and the cleaners, nothing is to much and I can finally sleep at night knowing that my mum is safe

What a special place Byron Court is.
From the moment my elderly Mum moved in, the staff were friendly, caring and supportive of her in every way. There is a genuine warmth and fun side to the care offered as well as a professionalism and dedication to duty.

The rooms were super clean and well appointed and Mum was made to feel at home. Moving into a care home can be a difficult and traumatic experience but Byron Court made things as good as they could be. Thank you!

Medical needs not fully provided. Lack of knowledge of oxygen needs. Food is not fresh but frozen so often sent to residents dried up or even burnt. Cleanliness of equipment and rooms not up to standard.

I honestly can't praise this care home highly enough. From the moment my mum arrived, the level of care, kindness, and respect shown to her has been outstanding. The staff go above and beyond every single day-not just doing their jobs, but genuinely caring.
My mum is treated with dignity, patience, and warmth, and it gives our family real peace of mind knowing she's safe, comfortable, and happy. The staff take the time to get to know each resident as an individual, and it truly shows in the way they interact with her.
The home itself is always clean, welcoming, and well-run, but it's the people who make it exceptional. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and communication with the family is excellent.

Thank you to everyone there for the compassion and dedication you show. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for my mum

We found Byron court initially when trying to find emergency respite for my mother in law.
From the moment she arrived she received excellent care.
She has remained there longterm and is happy and settled.
My father in law joined her at Byron court after discharge from hospital for end of life care.
The staff were caring , friendly and took great care of him until he sadly passed away.
They not only cared for him but have been very supportive of the family.

We feel very fortunate to have found Byron court whom we entrusted with the care of our loved ones

Lovely care home. My mum has been in here since July and has Alzheimer's. All the staff are lovely and accommodating. There great with my mum as sometimes she is not the easiest of residents due to her Alzheimer's. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. It is a relief to see my mum well cared for and happy in her new home

I find the people at the nursing home very helpful and courteous at all times, I appreciate that they have a busy job and are on the go most of the time. But the only thing I would complain about, is that they are sometimes slow or do not answer the phone.

My father has lived in Byron Court Nursing Home for more than twelve months. From our very first visit, we were impressed by the staff, their helpful and caring attitude and the cleanliness of the building. My father settled in very well and from the outset has been happy and comfortable there.

He is monitored regularly and is always well cared for, well-fed, warm, clean and above all, happy and content.

My dad was only in Byron Court Nursing Home for a couple of weeks but he was treated with kindness and respect at all times.
Staff were kind, friendly, professional and always had time to talk to me and my family. Little details were attended to and the greatest care given.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. They were described to me as "angels" and I concur.

My mum was diagnosed with dementia, she went to Byron Court Nursing Home originally for respite care, this was a difficult time for the family as a previous attempt with another care provider was really negative. From walking into Byron, my sister and I felt welcomed, all of the staff were professional and so friendly! From handyman, domestics, admin, activities coordinator, kitchen staff, carers, nurses and management - and of course, the residents, make the place a very friendly and compassionate place to be. Mum settled in really quickly and ended up staying as a resident, she's always smiling, looks safe and well and most importantly, engaged and enjoys banter with staff! I feel really welcome whenever I visit and enjoy spending time there, the staff really care about Mum and have supported the whole family through some really difficult times, they are an amazing group of people, I hope they all get some recognition from positive reviews and they feel valued as the committed staff team that they truly are.

We moved my mum from a mediocre care home to Byron Court. Best decision we ever made for my mum. She is so much happier. The staff are amazing, nothing's too much trouble. They keep everything fun and happy for all their residents. Music's always playing, everyone is lively. They also make sure the families of the residents are happy. The member of staff who greeted us to look around said they are here for my mum and us, her family, and they truly are. I feel like I can finally breathe, as I know my mum is well cared for. Thanks so much to all the staff.

Overall, I was comforted to know that my mother was being well looked after. Any concerns we had were dealt with in a timely manner once raised with management. Most importantly, the overall care and compassion shown to Mum was very good and this was down to the quality of the carers and nursing staff, who always did their best to help my mum through her daily battle with dementia, seeing to her needs and enabling her to live in peace and with dignity.

My dear friend, who I called my aunty was a resident at Byron Court for two weeks before passing. The care she received was outstanding. Every staff member was exceptional, caring, and professional 100% of the time. Nothing was too much trouble. In a time where care homes are under intense media scrutiny, I must say Byron Court is beyond reproach. Thank you so much for your help at this time!

I found my review very interesting. It also made me happier about the care my mum was getting and helped me to understand her needs a bit more. I am happy with the outcome of my mum's care and know she is safe. Making sure my mum is happy at all times is the most important thing to me and I do feel she has settled very well, although from time to time it is quite hard, she seems happy.
