Dale Park care home, situated in Southport, Merseyside supports older people to lead their best lives with personalised dementia care.

The friendly and newly-refurbished home is comprised of several separate living areas which provide a choice of places in which residents can relax, dine or be creative. The pretty garden, which includes a sensory area, is a favourite spot for residents wishing to take some air and enjoy the company of friends and family. It is also frequently used during the warmer weather for events such as BBQs and Summer Fayres. Dale Park's hairdressing salon and beautiful patio are popular among residents.

A dedicated and professional care team at Dale Park strive to offer support that not only covers residents' care needs but also encourages them to live a fulfilled and happy lifestyle. My mum received excellent care at Dale Park.
The staff couldn't have done more for her and treated her with love and respect. Our family were always made to feel wellcome , we could walk in there any time and always found a calm atmosphere. All the residents looked happy and well kept.

My mother has been at Dale Park for a few months now. From the outset, the staff have gone over and above to help her settle in. On visiting my mother I have always found the home be inviting with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I've always found the staff to be approachable and helpful and it appears
that they have built a good rapport with my mum, which has made her happy. From the very first evening I left my mother at Dale Park, I felt confident that she was in good hands.

My mother in law has been in Dale Park for a while now and I can honestly say this is a beautiful home. The home is clean and tidy warm and welcoming. All of the staff are very caring and go above and beyond for the people in their care. The residents are happy,clean and tidy treated with dignity and

Mum has been a resident for 18 months. Dale Park must be up there with the very best for genuine care towards its residents and their families. The staff are on the ball meeting the needs of my mother. There is daily routines in place meaning we all know what and when things are due to happen. Regular
reviews take place and family meetings are also taking place. The management are very accessible to deal with any queries we may have at any time. I ask mum often if she is happy and comfortable at Dale Park to which she has always replied yes she is. Mum is in a happy, caring, safe place with genuinely caring and attentive staff under excellent proactive management. Well done Dale Park, your excellence helps mum and us deal with mums difficult illness. Thank you!

As a long-term resident, my husband continues to receive exceptional care at Dale Park. The staff treat him with care, kindness and compassion. Whenever I visit, he is comfortable in his wheeled armchair and the staff take him to his room for me so we can have some privacy. When I visited this week,
one of the carers said that they can still get a smile. This reassurance was very much appreciated and in keeping with the caring attitude extended to the relatives. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

When dad arrived in Dale Park Care Home some 20 months ago he was not in a good place due to his Alzheimer's.
Due to the care and patience of the staff dad soon settled.
Sadly we lost our dad due to the disease progression. He was loved and cared for by all the staff at Dale Park.

Mum has settled well in Dalepark. My sister and I feel the home is welcoming, friendly and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. Very clean. Numerous activities are available and the food menu caters for all palates. The rooms are of a high standard. We are very pleased to have found Dale Park.

Mum has only been a resident at Dale Park for a short while but since her arrival, she has positively bloomed. The staff are compassionate and caring and mum is treated with the dignity and respect she deserves, they are supportive and attentive to all her needs. There are excellent food options, catering
for all palates, all freshly prepared on the premises, with all nutritional needs being met. All the rooms are decorated to a high standard, with the furniture in both lounges set to allow smaller groups to socialise as a family. Feel blessed to have found the perfect place for our mum's care.

So pleased to find that my sister had settled in well and was happy with her room and facilities. The care home provided my sister with a wheeled wrap around chair, so she could be moved from her room straight to the dining room. Facilities include film shows. A classic film was showing when we arrived.
The staff led by a great team are very caring and nothing is too much trouble. We can fully recommend this care home.

When we visit Dale Park, firstly the staff, management, office, carers, cleaners and kitchen staff are always very friendly and helpful. They show interest in our relative and give us regular updates on their well-being. Once we are inside the home we can always see staff giving 100% care to the residents.

I could not be happier with the manager and the staff whom I have met since my first visit to Dale Park. The care home felt so comfortable and friendly as soon as I walked through the front door. The home is very nicely decorated and is spotlessly clean. The staff and residents interacted really nicely.

Mum has resided at Dale Park for a month now. I feel the manager and all the care staff are extremely professional and patient and give their all for their residents. I too always receive a warm welcome and a cup of tea. If mum is off-colour the communication to me is first class and it's a lovely environment

After various visits to many care homes and a recommendation from a friend to look at Dale Park, the same friend accompanied me to Dale Park and almost instinctively I knew this was my top choice. Lovely people employed here no chandeliers or glitz, just good caring staff that know how to care for sick
people. I was employed in Institution Management my reaction was a warm caring home, food cooked on the premises, spotless, staff welcoming. I'm relaxed now.

As a Registered Nurse, Andrea has gained many years of experience in providing care and support for older people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Andrea shares that HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her experience to motivate her team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked why she chose to work in the care sector, Andrea remarked:


“I really love people. I have all the time in the world to give. There is nothing better than making someone’s day special or being able to just listen and offer company and kindness.”


Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her three children, travelling and visiting new places, including Barbados and Dubai. She also likes trying new food from different countries and learning about new cultures.
