Overall Experience
My mother spent about nine to ten months with you. Whenever I visited, she seemed content and well cared for.
The staff were always happy and willing to transfer Mum to a wheelchair so I could take her back to her room if we wished for a quiet chat.
The compassion shown to Mum and my sisters and I as she neared the end of her life was wonderful, from all the staff. You helped to ease her passing and make it as easy and peaceful for all of us as possible.

Thank you.

I found most times I visit my brother, I always have a complaint to make. I hate it as I can see some staff are not up to carrying out the work and care that dementia requires for my dear brother. I do like the home, a big shame it has gone down like it has. Good luck, hope it will get better.

Overall Experience
From my first visit to Bebington Care Home, I was very impressed. I went to view one other but wasn't impressed at all so came back to you. I didn't even go to see any others and told the social worker that this is where I want my wife to be. The staff are very, very good, so helpful.

The home is excellent, I could not have wished for my wife to be anywhere else.

My mum is very well cared for, the staff are lovely, friendly, very caring to all residents, nothing is too much trouble, ask them anything always helpful. Food is good. Room lovely. We as a family love our mum and know she is well looked after when we are not there. I myself work for the NHS, would recommend the home to anyone.

Review from Christopher R (Son of Resident) published on 4 October 2017 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My mother's care is dependent on the staff who take care of her not only physically but mentally as well, which is equally important and some shifts of staff are truly both professional and caring at the same time. They care for the residents but the visiting relatives as well and just as importantly, to their fellow members of staff. I have spent days with mum and I recognise what a difficult job it is but some shifts support one another and others don't. But overall, I think the care is good for catering for what are demanding circumstances.

Although my husband has been in this home a short time, I am more than pleased to see how well he has settled and is happy and content. The staff are always there to take care of his needs, and treat him with patience and respect. He is suffering with dementia. They spend time chatting with him and make him feel safe and secure.

Since my in-law moved to this home from respite she has been happy and constantly laughing. She is always clean and has made some new friends which is nice. There is always a member of staff about if needed and they are very welcoming to visitors. She has also put weight on (which is a good thing) so the food must be good .

The care home is great with the care of EMI patients which my aunt receives from them. She is very happy and clean and well fed, which is down to the professional help available here.

Mum has been at Bebington coming up to five years. I know she is happy here although she will say different. I know she is safe and warm and she now has company at night.

Paul Williams
Paul WilliamsJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2023

I joined Bebington Care Home as the Home Manager in January 2023.

I have a real passion for Bebington Care Home because this is where I began my career in care over 20 years ago as a care assistant.

I have worked in care for a long time, and there are many reasons for this. I love the fact that the smallest of gestures mean the most to others, and if, during the course of my working day I can make others feel valued and genuinely cared for, then I know that I am making a difference to someone’s life. Caring for others is the most rewarding career to have.

I am a perfectionist who enjoys the attention to detail that comes with this job, I like to focus on the standards of attainment required to hold the position that I love.

My door will always be open, I am responsive and ready to help in any way that I can. I both encourage and welcome any feedback that will help us to shape the future of the home.
