Our friend was a resident of St Georges for 9 years. Initially St Georges provided 24 hour 1 to 1 care, which reduced as she improved, due to good care. Plenty of care staff available- found time to talk to residents, encouraged by management. Friend was always smartly dressed hair done, nails polished- important for her. Friend went out with carer when one to one. Residents encouraged to go outside- activities enjoyed by many, especially music and pamper sessions. Palliative care provided at end of her life was excellent, staff always welcoming to visitors, respected their visitors.

This home provides a warm, friendly, welcoming environment offering a safe and supportive space for residents to be cared for to a high standard. My dad is really settled here since he moved in December. Staff are plentiful, polite, professional and hardworking, and my dad has formed some lovely relationships. The manager and staff genuinely care about their residents and take into account individual care needs and routines. The home is always warm and clean and the food of a good standard. Staff are responsive to residents needs and encourage families to be involved with all aspects of their relatives care. They provide a safe and homely atmosphere and it is lovely to hear the relaxing music which is usually playing in the communal areas. There are regular activities and parties for eg xmas, easter, summer and meetings with families to discuss relatives care/news about the home highlighting concerns or incidents in a transparent way whilst encouraging feedback. Overall fantastic

Resident entered St George's in December 2024. Numerous health problems involved going in and out of hospital, so overall did not spend too long there. Whilst resident, great empathy, sensitivity and understanding shown by all staff and management. I also warmly received by all.
