St George's Nursing Home is conveniently situated to Wallasey's Central Park, Liscard Shopping Centre, GP's & Health Services. There is also a busy bus route for Liverpool and Birkenhead nearby.

St George's Nursing home is a facility for those who are looking for general/dementia nursing or residential care, long and short term residents as well as day care facilities.

Experienced nursing and care staff team believe in person-centred care. These plans are completed with residents and families. The care plans help ensure that each person is treated with respect and independence and choices are maximised.

The home has an activities coordinator who arranges a variety of activities for the residents of St George's. Activities include arts and crafts, chair exercises, days out and quizzes. External activities or entertainment are brought in, such as entertainers.

The home uses electronic care plans and medicare nurse call system. Residents and visitors can access free wifi, the building has CCTV in most communal areas, free parking at front and the rear of the building. My mother has been in the nursing home for 6 years - she had been in a hospital unit near her home. She was able to get out one night and fell and broke her hip. We had tried carers at home and spending as much time with her as possible. She needed a care home but no-one would have her. Another care
home could have her but that would have been a 40-mile trip there and back so St George's Care Home took her and she has been very happy and well looked after here.

My dad has lived at St George's for 6 years now. My son and I looked at at least 10 other homes across the Wirral. When we walked into St George's we both felt we had found somewhere, at last, I could be happy entrusting my dad's care to. I'm happy to say we were right they have looked after my precious
dad as if he were their own. Every member of staff is excellent. Well done St George's and my heartfelt thanks to you all.

St George's is marvellous for my mum. The staff are amazing, all of them. When she first went in, the place was a bit shabby but a lot of effort has gone into decorate and it is much better now. All staff are friendly, helpful, understanding and caring. We are very lucky to have our mum in there and
we appreciate all that they do for her.

My brother has been in St George's for nine years. His care has always been excellent. I see him three times a week and he is always happy.
All of the staff (carers, nurses, admin etc) are first class.

My mother has been at St George's Care Home for 2 years. The care she has been given is brilliant. She had a rough time adjusting when she first moved in. The staff were brilliant, patient and caring, they could not be faulted. They are aware of her privacy and dignity and always let her know what they

My mother-in-law has been a resident with vascular dementia for nearly 6 years.
After spending 6 months in the upstairs secure unit she was transferred to residential accommodation downstairs and has settled in very well. She enjoys the company of residents and carers alike.
Overall we are very satisfied
with the level of care and attention she receives. She can still dress herself and is encouraged to wash and shower regularly.
