We cannot fault the care and attention Mum receives from all the staff at St George's. In her final days, they went above and beyond in their care which was of great comfort to us. Cannot thank them enough.

I have found all of the staff helpful and caring towards my dad, who can be difficult. The nursing staff have been good at explaining any problems, especially medical to us. They call prompting if there is a problem. My dad is 100-years-old on 23rd November, and they have been very kind to him and given him a purpose to live for his birthday when he was very poorly.

Due to Covid restrictions, limited access to my wife, but she seems happy enough. Staff good considering the trying times. St George's home has tried to keep things good in trying times.

I have recommended St George’s to my friend for his mother who has now moved in.

I expressed my experience regarding staff and procedures and how wonderful the staff are. How clean the environment is, and it is easy to speak to someone about Dad. My father moved from my home to St George’s just before the first lockdown, so it has been traumatic for all of us. Particularly, as Dad also has dementia and can be lucid at times. It’s been harrowing. Thank you to all the staff. We would be lost without you.

St George's Home has been very good looking after my husband. Most of the staff have been very good with him, the home is very clean and does not smell like other places. Staff and manager are helpful and mostly cheerful.

Mum appears very content and happy staying at St. George's. The building, whilst old, is clean and comfortable. The overriding good point about St. George's is the staff who, to a person, are caring, approachable, knowledgeable and friendly despite, on occasion, being overwhelmed by requests from and the complex needs of some residents.

I am very pleased with the care my friend is given. Always clean. I am not sure about activities he can participate in as he is paralysed down one side. I do think the staff are kind and caring. They have a hard job on. It is nice to hear that he goes out into the garden a bit as it is a change from his 4 walls!

My mother moved here from a hospital in February 2013.
She has been very well looked after here by all members of staff and calls it her hotel.

She is able to dress herself and reads a newspaper - she needs constant reminders to use her walker and assistance and help with washing.

My mother has been in the nursing home for 6 years - she had been in a hospital unit near her home. She was able to get out one night and fell and broke her hip. We had tried carers at home and spending as much time with her as possible. She needed a care home but no-one would have her. Another care home could have her but that would have been a 40-mile trip there and back so St George's Care Home took her and she has been very happy and well looked after here.

My dad has lived at St George's for 6 years now. My son and I looked at at least 10 other homes across the Wirral. When we walked into St George's we both felt we had found somewhere, at last, I could be happy entrusting my dad's care to. I'm happy to say we were right they have looked after my precious dad as if he were their own. Every member of staff is excellent. Well done St George's and my heartfelt thanks to you all.

St George's is marvellous for my mum. The staff are amazing, all of them. When she first went in, the place was a bit shabby but a lot of effort has gone into decorate and it is much better now. All staff are friendly, helpful, understanding and caring. We are very lucky to have our mum in there and we appreciate all that they do for her.

My mother has been at St George's Care Home for 2 years. The care she has been given is brilliant. She had a rough time adjusting when she first moved in. The staff were brilliant, patient and caring, they could not be faulted. They are aware of her privacy and dignity and always let her know what they will be assisting her with.

My mother-in-law has been a resident with vascular dementia for nearly 6 years.
After spending 6 months in the upstairs secure unit she was transferred to residential accommodation downstairs and has settled in very well. She enjoys the company of residents and carers alike.

Overall we are very satisfied with the level of care and attention she receives. She can still dress herself and is encouraged to wash and shower regularly.
