I can not thank the home and staff for being so supportive of my mum. They have gone over and above to help my mum settle in and feel at home. She was very nervous and run down when she arrived in May 2023 and in 4 months she is happy, laughs takes part in the activities. The food is brilliant and she enjoys every bit of her meals. She always looks clean and tidy. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your review. It is lovely to hear how well your mum has settled into the home and how hoppy she is. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
My mum moved into Riversdale in May. All the staff and management have been helpful and very friendly at all times. They have all helped my mum settle in well. They have helped us all as a family deal with the situation.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. We know how difficult it is for all the family when a loved one moves into a care home so it is lovely to hear how well your mum has settled in. I will share your kind comments with the team.
Dad spent an enjoyable three weeks on respite. Excellent service. Friendly and caring staff. Always ready to discuss issues and provide the best care for Dad. Dad was happy and stimulated. The staff made him feel at home and took the time to stimulate him and give him some outdoor exercise. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Thanks to the manager and team.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. It is lovely to hear how happy your dad was during his respite stay with us and that he enjoyed all the activities, particularly the little trips out in the local area. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
The staff provide excellent care and support to residents and family alike in a very professional manner but also with humour and friendliness.
The interaction between all the staff is excellent and is to be commended.
The increase in the activities for residents is also very welcome and very good.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Riversdale for the care the residents get.
Food is excellent and varied, and the residents always look clean and tidy.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. It is wonderful to hear about the excellent care and support provided by the team and for the lovely feedback about the increased activities, which residents are really enjoying. I will share your kind comments with all the team.
The decorations, celebration food and gardens were lovely and we all enjoyed the lady entertainer whose singing added to a very happy afternoon. Thank you all for your hard work and kindness.
Thank you for you your lovely review. We are pleased to hear how much you enjoyed our Coronation celebrations. We know how important it is for residents and their families to celebrate special occasions such as this and make wonderful memories. I will share your comments with the team.
Recently she celebrated her 100th Birthday, and the staff were enthusiastic and caring, and the family can't thank them enough.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review for Riversdale. It is lovely to hear how well your mum is being cared for by our wonderful team. Everyone at Riversdale enjoyed celebrating your mum's 100th Birthday with her and all the family. I will share your lovely comments with all of the team.
We are increasingly concerned about staff shortages and mistakes. The management has admitted they are unable to meet needs. Sadly, we are resorting to ringing Adult Services emergency helpline for advice and intervention. On the plus side, there are carers here who go above and beyond and are the glue holding this place together. I write this review after previously leaving excellent comments a few years ago.
Thank you for your review. We would like to reassure you that the home is always staffed to the required level to meet the needs of all Residents. As you are aware, we have been unable to recruit permanent nurses into the home. As a result, the home has been using agency nurses to cover shifts....
The care home staff are second to none. They provide my mother with outstanding care. It is clear that they not only take pride in their role. They genuinely care about the resident's well-being. My mother turned 100 whilst she was in the home, and the manager, together with the carers, made such a fuss of her and made sure it was memorable. You are always dubious when choosing a nursing home; however, for us, we couldn't have picked a better one.
Thank you for your lovely review. We know how difficult it is when a loved one needs support in a care home, but at Riversdale, the team work hard to provide excellent care and support not only for their health but also for their well-being. I will share your kind comments with the team.
This is my home; I love it here. The staff are amazing, they are all so lovely and helpful. The manager clearly helps us and is easy to talk to. The food is really good and tasty. The garden has been wonderful over the summer. The home is so welcoming, and the activities are good. The cleaners are fantastic, and the home always smells lovely and clean. This home is boos. Could not wish for a better place to be.
It is wonderful to receive such a positive review from someone who lives in the home. We are pleased to hear how happy you are with the manager and all the team and how much you enjoyed the garden over the summer months. I will share your comments with all the team.
Mum has been a resident here since April 2021 and has settled really well. She has moved to a cooler ground-floor room where there is more hustle and bustle and it suits her so much better. She eats well and is very well cared for. The staff are all very good to her and she is very content. Her room is nice and all concerns have been sorted.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review for our home. It is wonderful to hear how happy and well cared for your mum is. The team works hard to ensure residents settle in quickly and are always happy to discuss concerns and resolve them quickly for everyone's peace of mind.
Mum has only been here a couple of weeks but has settled in very well due to the very caring staff.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. It is lovely to hear how well your mum has settled in.
Although my wife and I wish we didn't need to use the home we have found it friendly and extremely courteous to both my wife and myself.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We know how hard it is when you have to make the difficult decision of placing a loved one in a care home. We are pleased to hear how friendly and courteous all the staff have been in the home.
My first impressions of the home were average. However, the first visit was when there were Covid restrictions, and I realised things were difficult, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. After subsequent visits, I have found my impression to have changed. After seeing how the staff approach the residents and interact with them, I am very satisfied with the care given to my friend and how they show their concern for her welfare. In other words, I am really happy with the standard of care given.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review of our home. It is lovely to hear how pleased you are with the care given and how friendly and helpful they are towards your friend and all the residents.
My father-in-law has resided at Riversdale for more than three years now. He has always received excellent care from consistently good staff. They have always been friendly and welcoming to me when I have visited, finding them reassuring and knowledgeable about his care. The home is under what seems a constant state of improvement with regard to the fabric of the building and the furniture provided. He has always enjoyed the food too.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are pleased to hear about the excellent care your father-in-law receives from all the team. We will pass your comments on to the team.
My experience of Riverdale Nursing Home is that they are very hard working - putting their residents first. It's good teamwork, and my father is very happy to be there. At present, they are preparing for the Jubilee, and I think it's nice that they - the staff - are making that extra effort.
Thank you for your review. It is lovely to hear how happy your dad is. Celebrating events like the Jubilee is wonderful for our residents; we look forward to seeing all the photos of the event.
I'd been supporting my client at home for four years prior to him moving to Riversdale here on Wirral. I now visit him once a week to chat, do crosswords, read the newspaper and go out for a walk whenever the weather permits. During the pandemic, visits were either non-existent or few and far between, which I fully understand. The service from every member of the staff team during this time was amazing. They kept me up to speed with my clients day to day conditions. I feel that the entire staff team are just brilliant in every way. caring (as you'd expect) but I feel they really do offer an excellent service to the residents, their families and friends plus other visitors. Riversdale is a very calming place to be, full of humour, good-natured banter and a reassuring place for all residents and clients. It's brilliant!
Thank you for you wonderful review about our Riversdale. I will share your comments with all the team!
I have nothing but praise for all the staff from the cleaners to the management and how they look after a very close friend of mine, he has dementia. They have been brilliant to my friend given the problems due to Covid restrictions and have always given me a warm welcome when I take him out.
Thank you so much for your kind words, James. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. We are so glad that you are pleased with all the efforts put in by the team here at Riversdale.
This Care Home is amazing. My mum has been there for four weeks and hopefully staying long term. The staff are the most caring lovely people you could ever wish to meet . The food is great mum very happy there which we were shocked as she never wanted to go into a nursing home . Well done all the staff!
