Safe Harbour has been the only
Nobody wants to face the reality of putting a loved one into care. But our distress was worsened by finding so few settings that were willing to work with us as we took this next step. Finding Safe Harbour was a blessing, and we are grateful to the staff for all that they do. Thank you.
That is really lovely, thank you! We are glad Dad has settled in so well. We are happy that you as a family have found somewhere Dad is truly happy. Thanks for taking the time to review us, we do appreciate it.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We really appreciate the feedback and hope to improve the score on the rooms as we are have now finished the communal areas, the rooms have begun. We are so happy that you all as a family are happy with the care team. Thanks again.
What a fantastic review! Thank you so much. Mum is enjoying her time here so much; she enjoys the activities and socialising. She is such a people person and enjoys every aspect of seeing people. She especially loves her visits from you and is always cheered up when you have been to see her. Thanks so much for your support as always!
We would have no hesitation in recommending Safe Harbour to anyone whose relatives need this type/level of care.
This is so lovely! We appreciate your acknowledgement of the care levels not wavering during this pandemic. We have done absolutely everything in our power to keep 'normality' for every person, ensuring everyone is treated with dignity, respect and as individuals. We thank you for your review; it is really appreciated.
This is so lovely! It's nice to hear you feel we have gone from strength to strength; we always want to improve and ourselves in order to make things better for our ladies and gents as well as their families and indeed our team. Thank you for noticing and appreciating the work that goes on behind the scenes and the hours that are spent in our own time to fundraise. The dementia-friendly décor has been a difficult one to plan, but I really think we are starting to see huge improvements. As I have said to your Mum, the emails are a bit of an obsession of ours to check so often, sometimes too often! But we do want to be prompt and be responsive. Thanks so much for this review it is lovely.
This is fabulous! Thanks so much for always supporting us and being incredibly lovely both in person and via email. You are a superstar, and we really appreciate the support and kindness you always show. Thanks again.
I can't believe how brilliantly the settling in period went! So calm and with such humour. All of the activities have been well received, which can be difficult with new people, in particular, as we do not yet know them as well as others, but no problem at all! We will definitely hold you to social and fundraising events. We can not wait to have a family Bing night again! We do definitely enjoy showing affection and yet sticking to all the covid guidelines too, it's a pleasure to do the job we do even if a pandemic comes along! Thanks so much for this fabulous review. We really appreciate it!
The social media pages are certainly a good place to start and see what we do, it is certainly a project, but it is important to show what we're doing, even if only snippets! We would happily be rid of the Covid pandemic in a heartbeat and get back to 'normal', fingers crossed, we will soon, but we have done so well and keeping up spirits has been a huge part of that. I am so glad she is happy and that you can see that too. Thanks for this review, it is brilliant!
This is so fantastic! Thanks so much for yet again supporting us and being so kind with your words. You guys, as a family, are just brilliant, and we can't thank you enough. Dad is very much part of our family, and hearing stories such as 'the chicken' story has us in stitches, so thank you for sharing those special memories with us as it makes all the difference. Thanks again, you are a superstar.
This is such a lovely review! Thank you so much for your lovely words. Dad is very settled here; he loves a joke with us all and seems to be happy. We love Mum too, her visits always brighten Dads day up, as do his children visiting. Thanks for being so supportive of us this past year.
Thank you so much for your very kind review. We are so glad that you feel Dad is happy here; we certainly think so too. We really do appreciate feedback, as it lets us know we are on the right track! Thanks again, you are a star as always.
We’re sorry to hear this. This year alone, over 50 emails were sent regarding Covid, Vaccines, Newsletters, Meetings, Visits, Care plan reviews and photos of Mum. We understand not all relatives want to visit during the pandemic and don’t want to be part of care plan meetings, this is a personal choice. I asked the care staff to call you via her mobile as I knew you were friendly, and I couldn’t get through. I had just received an email from your brother to collect Mum's photos, given the situation I felt we needed to mediate promptly to ensure both parties were happy. I stayed late to ensure that I could deal with this and the correct items were given out. All staff are trained in end of life, due to the circumstances, our staff did everything they should. Our Nurse was emotional, it’s an emotional job, staff develop strong bonds with residents. As I said to you face to face, I understand how hard it is to lose someone during a pandemic when contact is limited. Mum will be greatly missed.
Thank you so much for this heartwarming review. Mum is doing well. The pandemic has certainly been hard, but Mum has been brilliant, so sociable and enjoying activities. Thanks for taking the time to review us so kindly.
This is a lovely review! Thank you so much, we do love Mum absolutely! The staff can only dream of a glass of wine until they get home. I am just about to email you the photo album I have made to Mum, thank you for sourcing so many photos. We really do try hard, and especially in this pandemic, the lovely comments really help boost us all. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We really do work hard at providing daily entertainment for our ladies and gents. Communication is also a big part of what we do, and I am glad you feel we do it well. Thanks for continuing to support us as always.
Thanks for this really lovely review. Activities are always thinking of new things to do and ways to keep everyone entertained in their own ways. We love Mum, and she certainly is part of the staff team here, especially joining us in the office. The Midwife in her has not left either. We appreciate your comments regarding this pandemic as it has been a very long road and a series of very difficult decisions the management team have had to make. Keeping everyone safe and happy are our top priorities. Thanks so much for taking the time to review us.
Thank you for this review. The whole team do work so hard in every aspect of the home, but ensuring our ladies and gents are safe, happy and entertained are a big priority. Mum is the life and soul of the party and loved her birthday party where you all came to see her through the window, she had a ball and spoke about it for days after. Thanks for taking the time to review us.
Thanks for this review, Mum is really happy and settled at Safe Harbour. Mum enjoys bathing the babies, helping with dusting, and will engage in some arts and crafts but not always, sometimes she just prefers to monitor. Mums favourite activities are definitely, afternoon tea, listening to music and having hand massages. Mum enjoys being given lots of affection and joins us in the office just for the company. Thanks for taking the time to review us.
Thanks for this really lovely review. Mum certainly enjoyed her birthday and had lots of fuss. We understand how hard it is not to be able to see our loved ones is, we hope you do feel involved in all aspects of care and that you have felt reassured during this incredibly difficult time. Let's hope things get better soon, and we can have some more normality. Thanks for taking the time to review us.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. We understand how hard it is not to be able to see your Mum. This is a very trying time, and we are all being pushed in ways we didn't think we ever would be, so we appreciate you being so kind. Mum is doing well and is happy here. We hope this will all be a distant memory soon and we can get back to normality. Thank you for your kind words.
