My husband was admitted to Cavendish Court from hospital when he was dying from Cancer and Alzheimer's disease. On admittance, the staff greeted us in a friendly reassuring manner. During his 4 week stay, he was given 24-hour care. I appreciated seeing the hourly record kept of this. His room needed
the carpet replacing in was old and unhygienic. Also, the lounge/eating areas needed refreshing (2nd floor). The staff were most helpful and caring, especially on the night of my husband's death.

Very impressed with staff, conditions, food and chef on the day we visited my brother. Lovely atmosphere and all the residents we met seem very contented and happy.

From our first visit to Cavendish Court we, my sister and I, and our mum have been treated with care. This has been a very emotional time for us, putting our lovely mum into a care home.
The staff here have been fabulous, the time they spend with mum and how they treat her illness.
I really don't
know what we would have done without them.
Our sincere thanks to all. We would not hesitate in recommending Cavendish Court.

Cavendish Court is a lovely place, the staff are wonderful and the services within are being worked upon to improve month on month. The entertainment and food are great and for the most part the residents all seem very happy.

Putting my mum into a care home was one of the most difficult things I've had to do, but the management and staff at the Cavendish were so helpful and caring. My mum is settling much better than I expected which is such a relief.

Cavendish Court Care Home have long-term staff members who are very kind, patient and caring.
Unfortunately, there are too many agency staff and not enough long-term staff.
There has been a high turnover of managers within the last year when compared to another care home.
There are insufficient numbers
of staff during the daytime and night time.
The management rating is apart from the peripatetic manager.

This home was chosen because of it'swarm and homely feel. Generally, the staff are very caring of my father's needs. My parents celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this month. The staff at the home went to a great deal of trouble and effort to make it such a special day, especially the activities
coordinator. My Father is very settled and comfortable. We feel confident that he is being well looked after.

Each week I take my severely disabled wife to Cavendish Court to receive special daycare - for one day. I have nothing but praise for the care given, the warmth of the welcome and the professional attitude of the staff.

Professional and welcoming when we asked to visit Cavendish Court Care Home.
Bright and cheery surroundings.
It is a pity we didn't have a private shower in the en-suite as my father would have been more comfortable.
Excellent nursing care and he really enjoyed the food.
Would happily recommend
the Cavendish.

My wife has been a resident at this home for over three years. She is a Parkinson's sufferer of 20 years. My wife is now in the memory loss phase of her illness. Though unsteady, can walk with 3 wheel trike. The staff are very good at getting her to the toilet, bathing etc. I have helped by getting
her moved each day to the large sitting room kitchen, this gives her company and also the office opposite gives the staff an overall view. There are games, quizzes, exercises etc. Overall I consider every effort is made to keep the residents happy. I would recommend this home.

Leanne is pleased to be Cavendish Court's Home Manager and has been in the role since February 2024. She leads a great team at the home who are passionate and enthusiastic about delivering high quality care and are aspiring for excellence.


Leanne has worked in health and social care since 2014. She is a learning disability nurse by background and graduated in 2017 from the University of Chester. Always cheerful and positive, Leanne is dedicated to supporting and helping people and this shines through in everything she does.

Karen has been the Business Administrator at Cavendish Court since January 2025. Karen has worked in health and social care for over 6 years and has been with MMCG for 18 months. She loves people and putting the residents first and is the friendly face when you walk through the front door at Cavendish Court.
