The staff is very welcoming, cant do enough for both residents and relatives, well worthy of the trust I give them knowing I can sleep well at night and that Dad is getting the care he so well deserves.

My mother went into full-time care approx one year ago. The staff here went out of their way to welcome her, (and her family). She was in a very poor state of health, they have looked after her like part of a family and she has blossomed, put on weight, colour back into her face as a result. Most of all her smile. Although she is quite confused due to her condition, family members are always welcome at any time and can have a meal with their family member if they wish (if covid restrictions allow). Well done to the staff at Accrington Belvedere.

I cannot fault the care given to my dad. The staff are wonderful, they go above and beyond to care for the residents. They are so loving and that makes a huge difference and adds to the homely feel as soon as you walk in. My dad was in another care home and was rapidly going down hill but due to the care and attention given by staff he is now a lot more settled and so well looked after. The staff are always on hand to help the relatives with nothing being to much. I can now rest a little easier knowing my dad has the best care possible.

We are very pleased and impressed with the home. My father has been in a number of homes due to his aggression. Since he's moved he's now much happier and content, without any aggression.

Nothing is too much trouble with the carers doing whatever he needs.

My mother started staying here from August 2018 because she could no longer look after herself after the death of her husband in July 2018. The manageress and the staff have done a brilliant job with her and the quickness of the staff got my mum to hospital after noticing she couldn't swallow. After being diagnosed with asphyxiation pneumonia and given only weeks to live. She went back to the home on 18th December and is now sat up every day, washed, dressed and eating, which I thought I would never see. Excellent care home.

My Grandfather has been so well looked after here at Belvedere. The staff take care of every need even the needs that are not initially thought of. Comfort and care are always paramount. Emotional support for my Grandfather and myself have been first class. I would recommend this home to anybody needing looking after. In my opinion, there is no place better.

Belvedere Care Home is extremely well run. The rooms are clean and nice. The food looks very nice and the staff are friendly and caring. My mother is treated with respect and all her needs are met. She is well cared for and treats the staff like friends. All the residents look happy and all the everyday problems seem to be dealt with quickly and efficiently. The management is very knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions. Altogether a very welcoming and relaxed home.

During my mother's short stay at Belvedere, she was well cared for and well treated. She could be challenging and very demanding but this was dealt with love, care and patience by all members of staff.

The facilities at Belvedere are excellent. Ensuite rooms, comfortable lounges and large dining area. The staff went out of their way to support mum and her needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending Belvedere.

The manager allowed me to furnish my mother's room with various personal pieces, which have made it a home from home. During her illness the staff have sat with her, holding her hand, and have helped her through her panic attacks with breathing exercises. They have encouraged her to eat and ensured she is hydrated. Any personal care issues have been approached in a manner that has maintained Mum's dignity. When she has been too ill to walk, they have pushed her in a wheelchair, sat with her in the garden, they have even visited her when she's been in hospital.

No request is forgotten or denied unless there is a safety/welfare issue. Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time.

My sister came into the above home on March 17th 2017 and in my opinion, management and staff are very good and helpful. I'm Power of Attorney for her and visit her once a week. The thing I like about this care home is that any cash belonging to patients is kept safe and if required, must be signed for, which I find very good.

This care home provided the warmest, kindest and most loving care to my grandma. They made us feel we were welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
The staff are excellent and towards the end of my grandma's life, they made her comfortable and dignified.

My brother has been a resident in this care home for 6 months. His family and myself (and he himself) are extremely grateful for the wonderful care he has received following a serious accident.
He is now fitter and healthier than he has ever been and we believe this is due to the excellent food, the warm comfortable room and the dedicated staff who have encouraged and cared for him even in his worst and most difficult moods.
They have kept him clean, well fed and made sure he took his medications as well as forming caring bonds and never giving up on him even when he has been demanding and argumentative.

All the residents enjoy this level of care and I myself wish to be accommodated here when I cannot care for myself.
