Holywell Bridgeway

Visited Bridgway today. The atmosphere was very welcoming and inviting, there were many football themed decorations and trimmings all over the communal area, the staff had obviously gone to a lotbof effort to include all residents in the world cup football that is on at the moment. Our son looked very happy, eating well, staff were communicating very well with him, which can be difficult as he uses his own version of sign language, however his needs were being met to a high standard, and his weight has gone from borderline underweight to a healthy BMI bracket, all thanks to the healthy menu made available to our son. Fantastic staff, thank you for looking after R.

The home's fully equipped sensory room is a fantastic resource, and families are always included in discussions, developments, and decisions affecting their loved ones. Regular family and resident meetings provide transparency and celebrate achievements, including the home's Preston College Industry Placement of the Year Award. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a loving, safe, and supportive environment.

What an amazing place. I had no idea a care home could be like this. Truly caring staff who are genuinely engaged with all residents ensuring all individual needs are meet. Such a wonderful community and family atmosphere, a place where you have confidence that your child/relative is being treated with respect and care.

If we need to speak to the manager he is usually on site and if available goes out of his way to meet with us to discuss what is on our minds.

Attended Bridgewater care home yesterday for a world cup themed party , the effort that went on to the day was amazing the decorations , the staff the games and quiz was amazing all staff made sure all residents whow antes to join in could do the afternoon was just wonderful . Bridgeway is such a special place, we go home knowing that our sister is happy, safe and very loved by everyone who works there . Thankyou all staff and management for everything you do x

We attended the world cup party yesterday which was amazing, we could hear the residents singing from the car park, the thing we noticed first was how everyone was joining in wether it was karaoke activities , colouring competitions everyone was included. The decorations looked absolutely amazing. Thankyou for all the effort you put in to everything.

Bridgeway Care home really is something else. The atmosphere is warm, inclusive, and genuinely caring from the moment you walk in. The new sensory room is a fantastic addition-thoughtfully designed, calming, and engaging, it provides a safe space that truly enhances residents' wellbeing.

What really stands out is the staff. They are kind, patient, and dedicated, always going above and beyond to ensure residents feel valued, respected, and included. Care is clearly personalised, and there is a strong sense of community throughout the home.

Families are kept informed and involved, which brings real reassurance. Holywell Bridgeway isn't just a care home-it's a place where people are supported to live happily and comfortably. An outstanding team delivering exceptional care.

Every member of staff needs to be recognised for all they do , yet can't because CQC will not reinspect as they have no concerns.

My mum moved into bridgeway in 2023, considering this was the last thing we ever wanted to do was put mum in a home it has turned out to be the best place for her, mum receives a high level of care, she is washed dressed and hoisted out of bed every day, showered or bathed twice a week whichever she would prefer, my mum couldn't speak when she first arrived at bridgeway, she couldn't eat or drink, now she is able to talk, she can also have liquids and yoghurts throughout the day, mums improved a lot since coming here and that's down to all the amazing staff that go above and beyond for their residents, mum enjoys karaoke Fridays, there is always so much going on for residents and their families, it's a friendly lively home that just has that feel to it, there isn't a single thing I can fault about it, there is something special about bridgeway care home and if I could recommend anywhere in the world for your families to be taken care of it would be here!!

Welcoming group, and so many personal centred activities for all they support and the wider community! Amazing work and staff Bingo and other activities give the residents personal centred approach to care! Each gets what they really need!

Our foster son is a resident and has been in Bridgeway for six years he has a wonderful life staff are very understanding and helpful nothing is to much trouble our foster son has challenging behaviour but there work and dedication has calmed him down and he is really happy this home has been a godsend and we can not praise them enough and senior staff are wonderful as well always available when you need them

My sincere gratitude to Bridgeway Care Home for the dedication and professionalism with which they care not only for my brother but for all the residents. Every day, they demonstrate extraordinary humanity by offering not only assistance but also warmth, affection, and dignity to those who rely on them.Bridgeway represents a precious gift for families who, like mine, know that they can rely on wonderful and competent people.

Every time we visit we're met with smiles and welcomes from everyone.This is THE best place our daughter has ever lived in for the care and variety of interests and most importantly the cleanliness and dedication of the staff. The whole place is spotless and there's always some member of staff cleaning when we arrive unannounced. Our daughter is well looked after which gives us complete piece of mind.

Our daughter is settled and happy at Bridgeway.

Bridgeway Care Home meets the needs of our Relative in every way possible. The Care provided is excellent and we find every member of staff exceptional in their roles. We find all residents daily receive activities which are enjoyed by all ie- Music, Drawing, Painting, Group therapy, Trips out in community to places of their choice.

My mum moved into Holywell Bridgeway last year. She has been here 6 months now and I honestly cannot fault this home in any type of way. Each and every one of the staff here are truly amazing. They are kind, caring and very passionate about what they do. Holywell Bridgeway brings so much to the care home not only for their residents but for families too. They love to get residents' families involved in many different events and activities which I think is brilliant, it's nice to be involved in things which make it feel like our home too. I couldn't have found a better care home for my mum to live.

I was very impressed with the way all the residents were treated and cared for, it was like a happy home and very clean. All the carers were very friendly.

When visiting my friend at Bridgeway Care Home I am always made to feel welcome by the management and staff. The home is always spotlessly clean and the residents are well turned out. They have regular entertainment where residents are encouraged to participate. It is a joy to visit and I am privileged that my friend is a resident.

There is a warm and friendly atmosphere when I visit a friend of mine who resides there. The management and staff are always helpful and nothing is too much trouble for visitors and residents. My friend loves living there and has really come out of her shell. She loves chatting with staff and participating in all the events that take place there. I have attended several events and management has always encouraged visitors i.e. family and friends to get involved.
