Holywell Bridgeway provides the highest level of residential, nursing, support and bariatric care to a wide range of adults aged 18-70 who have complex needs. Fully equipped with hoists, slings and specialist equipment and staff who are fully trained to move and handle residents who require assistance.

Each resident has his or her own room; 23 rooms are en-suite. This becomes their personal space, and staff encourages decoration and personalisation so that it feels quite simply like home. Residents have access to communal lounges, a dining room, activities room, sensory room, prayer room and a secluded courtyard for those sunnier days. The home has an activities co-ordinator who ensures that appropriate activities are available for residents to enjoy both at Bridgeway and in the community and local amenities.

Holywell is a special place in so many ways, residents build friendships and make sure that the team are highly trained in being able to not only offer an excellent service but to care and treat each and every resident with respect and kindness. This is their home and for the team at Holywell, it's about creating a sense of belonging, which in turn ensures that residents really feel as though this is their home.

My family & I truly believe that moving into Bridgeway saved my son's life. His health & spirit had deteriorated so much due to the treatment he received at the previous care home. We are so happy & thankful he was allowed to move into such a lovely caring home where nothing is too much trouble for

I have lived at Holywell Bridgeway for the last two years and am happy with the new manager, he has made this place much better and I cannot thank him enough. The staff morale previous to his engagement was terrible but since he has come things are much turned around the stuff are happier which makes
us happier and makes them do their jobs better which is obviously good for everybody there are more activities for the Residents which is a welcome addition including trips to see the Blackpool illuminations swimming and various activities within the home such as movie days on the big screen projector which is new and days that commemorate sporting events and most recently the Jubilee which was much enjoyed by everybody, the new manager is an excellent addition to the home and I'm pleased to say that I am now a happy resident.

My sister has been coming to Holywell Bridgeway for respite for tears and now she lives here and has been for 18 months. The care she gets is 10/10. I moved into Bridgeway Care Home on 12th November 2022 and have lived here ever since.
Ever since I have been here I’ve been treated absolutely brilliantly by all the carers.
We have a great activities coordinator who organises lots of events for us I really enjoy bingo, karaoke and they threw an
amazing Christmas party and Valentine's party for us.
I enjoy the food and the chefs give me what I want when I want it.
The manager is so lovely and always spends time with me and makes me laugh. He always makes sure I have everything I need.
The male receptionist is so lovely and always talks to me and helps me arrange travel to go out.
I really couldn’t be in a better place and I am so happy to be here.

The new manager has completely turned this care home around, residents and staff happy. Residents are being taken out again and have an activities coordinator again too which is great for residents. The chefs are brilliant serving great food daily. The new manager, receptionist, nurses and care staff
are all friendly, happy, helpful, and hardworking. Communal spaces are a lot brighter, more colourful, and cleaner since the new manager came in too.

My brother has been at Holywell Bridgway for almost three years.
Firstly I want to say, thank you to his social worker for making it possible for him to stay here.
It was my mother’s last and final wish to know he was well cared for and loved.
On behalf of all my family, we cannot thank everyone
at Bridgeway enough for the kindness and care in looking after him.
The staff go above and beyond in keeping the residents safe warm and clean and are so welcoming when I visit which for myself isn’t often with living down south.
The home is modern very light and fresh.
Our family would without any hesitation highly recommend Bridgeway house to anyone needing support away from their own home

My son has lived here for 14 years. After the first 2 weeks, he said he wanted to stay permanently. The staff are amazing, I couldn't ask for any better people to care for him. The cleaners, laundry girl, care staff, nurses, receptionist and manager are all like an extended family to me. I know they
will care for my son in every way possible. He is happy here in his home.
