I could not be happier about my husband's care at Croston Park Nursing home. All the staff are unfailingly kind, cheerful, helpful and respectful towards the residents and their families. They went 'above and beyond' when I and my family wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday, providing space, furniture, tableware and decorations. They gave us every support and we cannot thank them enough. Well done to everyone.

Having been discharged from hospital early last April, I spent four weeks receiving respite care in the home. Consequently, my wife being a resident, I can speak of its attributes both as a resident and service user. I have nothing but praise for every aspect of the care the home provides. The staff, who seem to me to be very happy with their work, could not be more caring; they know each resident, his or her foibles and requirements, and ensure that everyone is dealt with respectfully. The food provided is of a very high standard and the accommodation is spotlessly clean. I need say no more in recommending the home to anyone seeking the services of a care home.

The people who looked after my dad were caring, hard-working and supportive. At times, these staff members did not seem to be fully supported, leading to high staff turnover and a feeling that key staff were "over busy".

Many thanks for the care given to my dad over many years; I know it was a great comfort to him.

I've visited quite a few nursing homes and care homes. Croston Park is by far the most caring and compassionate. The staff are super and love their residents. The manager does a wonderful job and her team seems genuinely happy. The home is an example for others to follow.

Mum was only in the home for one month. In that time she and all family and friends were welcomed by all staff and treated with great respect. Mum came in for palliative care. Her room was perfect for her, looking out onto the church and lovely grounds. In her last three days, the whole staff went above and beyond to take great care of Mum and ourselves. They really care, with great respect, humour and compassion. I would not hesitate to recommend the home and the contact with the church. Thank you!

Mum was in Croston Park during the lockdown, which was a challenging time. Communication was sometimes very difficult, although staff tried their best. There is a calm and gentle atmosphere, and the staff were always kind and caring. Mum's room was comfortable, and the lounge, garden and activity areas have improved significantly - I would say they are excellent. Thanks to all at Croston Park for the care they gave Mum.

Mum was moved into Croston Park Nursing Home following dreadful care in another home and also poor care during her time in hospital. As a result, she arrived at Croston Park with a number of issues. Sadly, Mum was only in Croston Park for two weeks before she died. Within that two weeks, Croston Park resolved all of the problems that she arrived with and during her stay, Mum put weight on because they placed her on a re-feeding programme. At Croston Park, she was treated with complete kindness and compassion by the staff and as best as they could in Mum's situation with dignity. It was clear to see Mum visibly improving with regard to her appearance as she gained weight and also that she was completely comfortable. I'd like to thank the manager and her team for making Mum's final two weeks as positive as they were for her, and for including her family in her care planning. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.

Although for only a few days, the compassion and care that we received, both to the resident and those who sat kept vigil to the end of her life, was exemplary. It felt like being taken up into the loving arms of a family as we shared the saddest of journeys. The care my friend received was professional, respectful, never intrusive and above all compassionate. All needs were met, we wanted for nothing. Mere words cannot express our gratitude - bless you for all that you do to support those in need - residents and relatives. Excellent.

We have been very pleased with how all the staff have cared for Dad during his final years. Dad always looked clean and today and there was a good rapport between him and his carers. The home is in a lovely setting and Dad was content there. We would definitely recommend Croston Park Nursing Home to others.

My mum was a resident at Croston Park Nursing Home for just over thirteen months and during this time she received excellent care from the staff who work there. We were always kept informed by various members of the team if there was a change in Mum's circumstances, such as if she was feeling unwell or had to have any medication changed for example. As a family, we were impressed with the fact that all staff were approachable and had time for us if there were any issues we were concerned about, which were few and far between, fortunately. The staff address their jobs professionally and with kindness and respect for the residents in their care and I feel that my mum, despite having dementia, seemed very happy there in what had been very trying circumstances for all during the pandemic.

My aunt was my last relative in the UK. A fiercely independent and private person. All her life she spoke her mind directly.
She was at this location for over two months and spoke highly of the facility and staff.

To me that was high praise. (The highest). The time I spent visiting I saw the same thing. Thank you!

My mother was well looked after by friendly carers with whom she had a good relationship. The home is spotless and Mum was always clean and dressed in clothes of her choice. She particularly enjoyed time in the lovely gardens. End of life care for Mum and family was very compassionate.
