Dad has only been here for 2 weeks and seems quite happy and settled more than I had hoped. May it continue. The staff are so caring and have tried to include dad into all aspects of the home life.

My mum has been a resident for 12 months now. I have always been impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff, from manager through to cleaning staff. My mum has received wonderful care even when her dementia has meant she is distressed or angry. The home offer a wide range of
activities and entertainment which sadly my mum has not been able to join in with, but efforts have been made to bring activities to her room, such as sensory light activities.

My mum came to Croston Park Nursing Home in October and she has settled in so well. All down to the caring staff in every aspect of the home. We have been made to feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Mum loves the activities and has made some new friends.

The care Mum has received since moving in has been excellent. All of the staff have taken their time to get to know her.
All of her medical needs are carefully monitored and any concerns are relayed to us as next of kin. Mum loves joining in the activities, In particular arts and crafts, baking, flower
arranging and listening to the entertainers. Mum now calls Croston Park home.

My elderly aunt of 90 years is currently a resident at Croston Park Care Home have staff and management have played a massive part in helping aunty settle so well. Everyone ha been so kind and thoughtful going out of their way to create a true home from home environment.

My mum has been at Croston Park since early 2022 and has always received excellent care. The staff have always been kind, helpful and respectful of her needs. Recently, mum celebrated her 100th birthday and the staff went above and beyond their normal duties to ensure that this was a very happy and
joyous event for both mum and the wider family. They allocated us a private room and decorated it with balloons etc. which we had for 2 separate parties that week. On her actual birthday the staff and residents made floral table decorations and cakes for a surprise tea party. A big thank you to all staff and residents at Croston Park.

My mother spent 2 years at Croston Park from 2022 to 2024 when, regrettably, some serious falls meant that she had to leave and go to another care home.
Mum always received excellent care from the staff members and managers who showed great affection for her. Sadly, her dementia deteriorated quickly
but mum always seemed happy with the level of care she received.

I could not be happier about my husband's care at Croston Park Nursing home. All the staff are unfailingly kind, cheerful, helpful and respectful towards the residents and their families. They went 'above and beyond' when I and my family wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday, providing space,
furniture, tableware and decorations. They gave us every support and we cannot thank them enough. Well done to everyone.

Having been discharged from hospital early last April, I spent four weeks receiving respite care in the home. Consequently, my wife being a resident, I can speak of its attributes both as a resident and service user. I have nothing but praise for every aspect of the care the home provides. The staff,
who seem to me to be very happy with their work, could not be more caring; they know each resident, his or her foibles and requirements, and ensure that everyone is dealt with respectfully. The food provided is of a very high standard and the accommodation is spotlessly clean. I need say no more in recommending the home to anyone seeking the services of a care home.

The people who looked after my dad were caring, hard-working and supportive. At times, these staff members did not seem to be fully supported, leading to high staff turnover and a feeling that key staff were "over busy".

I've visited quite a few nursing homes and care homes. Croston Park is by far the most caring and compassionate. The staff are super and love their residents. The manager does a wonderful job and her team seems genuinely happy. The home is an example for others to follow.

Mum was only in the home for one month. In that time she and all family and friends were welcomed by all staff and treated with great respect. Mum came in for palliative care. Her room was perfect for her, looking out onto the church and lovely grounds. In her last three days, the whole staff went above
and beyond to take great care of Mum and ourselves. They really care, with great respect, humour and compassion. I would not hesitate to recommend the home and the contact with the church. Thank you!

Abigail Kershaw joins us as the new registered manager at Croston Park, bringing with her an impressive eight years of experience as a registered nurse. Her extensive career, primarily focused on acute medicine within hospital settings, showcases her capabilities in managing wards and her specialisation as a respiratory nurse. Abigail's dedication to healthcare was further highlighted during the pandemic when she volunteered in a COVID ward, demonstrating her commitment to patient care in the most challenging circumstances. Additionally, she has valuable experience in residential care for the elderly, underscoring her comprehensive understanding of the needs of our residents.


It is at Croston Park that she feels she has found her calling. Abigail is thrilled to take on the role of home manager.


In her new position, Abigail said, "Being part of the Croston Park family is like finding where I was always meant to be. It's not just about leadership; it's about making a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
