My mother-in-law Pauline has been in Moorgate for 17 months. All the staff at the home are so friendly and caring, especially Zara on reception who is the first face you see. Lisa who does activities is brilliant, they always have time to have a quick chat and update us on Pauline and what she has been
doing. Would recommend Moorgate to anyone.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of my sister until her passing, she had all the care a resident would need from every staff member. I used to visit at different times of the day and on each visit the staff showed empathy and were always smiling, my sister
was always clean and provided with everything she needed. I would recommend Magnolia House to anyone who requires total care.

Mum has now been in Moorgate for 7 months. She has never been as well both physically and mentally. She has been encouraged to participate in many activities and has really enjoyed joining in. The care has been amazing, and activities are really varied as there is always stimulation. She has a good
appetite and enjoys most of the food. The friendship, love and care she has been shown is amazing. As a close family, we are really happy to see that she's looked after as we would as a family. Thank you.

Attractive, well-maintained care home, both inside and out. Good size bedrooms, corridors and recreation rooms. All staff from first contact, ongoing care, to any finance issues have been helpful, supportive and excellent. Security is very good, with family visits always welcome at any time. Whilst
the cost of any care home will always be an issue, this care home was very good value.

We can't thank the staff enough here for the care they give my mum. We are so grateful for everything everyone does. The entertainment ladies are amazing and often get my mum up dancing. Everyone works so hard. The activities and entertainment are brilliant and make the place fun. I would love to live

I came here on respite after being discharged from hospital with a broken ankle rather than being left to look after myself at home. I found all the staff to be helpful and receptive to my needs and requirements. This included help in the appointment for the fracture clinic. I gained a great deal being
here and was so well looked after. Danielle & Jenny were most helpful.

Mums been at Croston Par for 12 months and her life has been changed for the better. She is now being looked after & cared for, but most of all she is surrounded with love & compassion! Yesterday she celebrated her 90th birthday. The staff in the home pulled out all the stops to make her birthday one
to remember by decorating all the room, making all the guests welcome & comfortable, she had a memorable day! So thank you.

My mother came to Magnolia House for respite in 2021 after being in hospital having had a fall at home. She had just recently had a lovely 100th birthday. She was well looked after there, and I visited her weekly. She was gradually starting to loose her memory and then was moved to the Dementia side.
At all times that she was at Magnolia House - until she passed away at the age of 104 she was well looked after by the very caring staff. I know the staff said she was a lovely lady. I noticed on my visits there that all the residents and my mother were being well looked after.

My mother in law has been in the hall for around 6 months now and has flourished since she moved in. The staff take excellent care of her, she presents as clean and well fed and seems a lot calmer and more relaxed. Staff have a good repartee with her, sharing humour which my mother in law has always
appreciated.
The home is clean, the food is good and the care provided by the staff is excellent. I do speak with a professional eye, I am a nurse and my role was part quality audit of care, and even though I visit in the role of son in law, I do observe and see excellent practices by the whole team.

Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are spacious with beautiful views, meals are restaurant quality cooked from scratch. Dad settled in remarkably quickly and said he should have done it years ago. Activities are numerous and exceptionally well run. Does not smell like a care home.
Interior decor is sumptious and well maintained. Staff made the transition easy for both dad and the family, catering for all our needs and outstanding reassurance. Peace of mind and dads well being, safety and care are of upmost important to both staff and family. Dads clothing is cared for by staff and cleaned to a very high standard. Full praise to this exceptional Care Home.

New transfer to Moorgate Croft. Very impressed with how welcoming and helpful all the staff have been. Moorgate Croft is an excellent care home. The bedrooms are spacious and ensuite. There is a good dining room and lounge with a kitchen that guests can also use. There is a regular programme of activities and the entertainment organiser works very hard to encourage residents to participate. All the staff
are very caring and always available to help with any questions we have or items we require. The food options are good and there is adequate parking for visitors. Highly recommended.

My mum fell after getting out of bed (she is a known falls risk & activated the falls mat). When the paramedics arrived, they told my brother how impressed they were with the care provided to my mum. She had 3 carers present with her and had been kept warm until they arrived to take her to hospital.

On October 11 it was mum's 93rd birthday, Jenny and all the staff made it very special for mum by decorating the activity room and providing refreshments for all the family so we could enjoy spending time with her. Maureen and Julie made a beautiful birthday cake and we have a video and phots to remember
the day by. As a family we are very happy with the care that mum is given. All the staff are kind and thoughtful.

My husband received excellent care during his stay at Magnolia House. The staff were always helpful and compassionate despite some challenging behaviours and always friendly and informative to family members.
