Visits of relatives are welcomed and the atmosphere is always like that of a warm and friendly family.
Clinical needs are professionally dealt with, and Doctors visits are arranged when necessary.
"Highly recommended".
The matron and her team showed great patience in trying to get fluids into her. I also particularly appreciated the policy of not employing agency staff, ensuring consistency of support even if that meant the manager working shifts “on the floor”. The hands-on approach meant I always had the confidence to discuss any developments directly with her.
Hospitality wonderful too, whatever time of day I called in.
Delaheys Nursing Care Home treated and looked after my mother with compassion and care throughout her stay. Always caring and welcoming. The owners and staff are well trained, caring and professional. An excellent first class establishment.
Matron and all the staff at Delaheys Nursing Care Home were professional and very caring, you were always made to feel very welcome and included in everything when you visited. I would recommend Delaheys Nursing Care Home to everyone.
My father was fortunate enough to become a resident at Delaheys after the cessation of his treatment for advanced prostate cancer. He had been a highly independent man but could no longer manage living alone. Delaheys was absolutely superb for the outset until he passed away. The level of care is based on the very highest standards of expertise and professionalism from the excellent matron to all the nursing and care staff. My father felt secure, happy and completely unstressed throughout his care. Relationships with individual nurses and care staff could not possibly have been better. Delahey's is very well appointed, immaculately clean and comfortable. Food is good and routines very well established. We felt very lucky that my father received his end of life care here and so did he!
