Maple House is a specialist care service, specifically for males with complex behaviours associated with living with dementia, mental health or other acquired issues.

This specialist male-only care service is staffed with an experienced and trained team and will ensure staffing levels are appropriately high, delivering responsive, compassionate and professional care. The aim of this specialist service is to eliminate restrictive 1:1 care for all individuals. New residents will be moved to Maple House in a carefully managed transition, with individual needs supported by additional care and assistance for the first 2 weeks beyond their move in date.

In all of the separate houses within Dovehaven Lodge, all sitting rooms offer space for Residents to pursue their hobbies and interests with lovely dining rooms. Dovehaven Lodge also has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative. The pretty landscaped gardens and patios are the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family, when restrictions allow. The bright, comfortable bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair.

The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together in their houses. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support mind, body and soul.

The Home Manager ensures all Residents receive the kindest possible care. The extensively trained team delivers excellent person-centred nursing, residential and specialist care.

Since mum moved to Maple, she is much improved, up and dressed and having showers.
We all love visiting now. Great staff all around. Keep it going.

My 89-year-old mum had late stage dementia and a number of other health issues. After spending seven weeks in hospital the time came for her to be moved to a nursing home for her 'end of life' care.
We visited a number of nursing homes in our area and chose Greenfield because we sensed that the staff
were warm, caring and friendly and we also had a good feel for the place itself when we were shown around. We were also impressed by the Unit Manager who reassured us that our mum would be well looked after and would have her pain managed effectively.
Mum's stay at Greenfield was short but she was very well looked after by friendly and helpful nurses and support staff, who were also welcoming and supportive to family members.
Mum's pain control was managed effectively and she passed away peacefully. The family are very grateful to the (Maple) Unit Manager and to all the staff at Greenfield during what was a very difficult time for us.

I cannot praise Greenfield Care Home highly enough.
Although my dad is a recent resident, the whole team have provided much care, kindness and support to make him feel at home.
They have taken time to truly understand him and his nursing needs and have worked hard to make sure his quality of life
is as good as it can possibly be with his dementia.
Special mention for the general manager, the unit manager, all the nursing staff, the assistants and admin staff. In fact, every member of this team deserves a thank you. We, as a family are forever grateful for the love and support which makes the difference between living and existing.

Thank you to the brilliant staff looking after my brother-in-law. The nursing home is bright and pleasant to walk into. He has his own spotless clean bedroom. The staff are so helpful and kind. The Unit Manager and her team at Maple House at Greenfield Care Home have cared for my mother tirelessly over the past 2 years. They were always professional and empathetic towards my mother during her stay and also myself and my family. It is fair to say that they have been a tower of strength.
In
days when it is all too easy for the media to only promote negative stories about care homes, I think it is important to provide some form of balance by saying that in my experience the level of care provided by the Greenfield team has far exceeded my expectations. My mother quickly settled in and considered it to be her home where she was lovingly cared for. She was able to surround herself with personal effects such as a display cabinet with ornaments in and books and plants which made the room so homely. I sincerely thank them on behalf of my mother who has now sadly passed away and myself together with my family for their exceptional level of care.

The care received in both Oak House and Maple House (Greenfields) has been outstanding. My father in law was treated with dignity, care and compassion, as were our family members. All the staff always greeted us with a smile and we felt they were all genuinely caring people. There was never anything
that was too much trouble for them to help my father in law with or to assist us too. A great team, lead by a great manager.

The standards of Maple House are excellent. Staff are friendly and caring, the home is clean and comfortable, meals varied and well presented.
Any problems or worries are dealt with promptly. Residents are treated with dignity and compassion. My sister is part of a family community which is a very

The home covers several units.
The unit Mum is on, certainly provides the care she requires.
Staff are caring and thoughtful.
They are very welcoming with visitors.
I am always informed of any problems/changes with Mum's health and am happy with the service/care provided.
I am hopeful that the
new management will continue and, indeed, possibly improve, the good work of the home and the care of all the residents.
My only negative comment relates to the decoration in the unit's lounge/dining area - this needs refreshing, as does the decoration in Mum's bedroom.

I have found the staff to be helpful and keep me informed of any problems with my sister.
They are very cheerful and I feel confident that she is being well cared for and leaves me without any worries on her account. The lounge and her bedroom are always clean and tidy.

Since coming to Greenfield my husband has had much better physical care but I feel that he is lacking in mental stimulation. The unit manager has said there will be extra training the new year and liaising with activities. /the staff treat my husband well and look after him. I find the new manager approachable
and sticks to her word and if I or my family have any ideas she acts on these and listens.

Mum had been a resident at Greenfield Care Home for over 65 years. Sadly we knew the end was approaching but the staff were amazing. The Manager and a member of staff who cared for Mum for years, both were kind beyond words up to the time she died. She was treated with care, love and dignity and we
couldn't have asked for more at a very sad time.

The manager and staff were very helpful when my mother first moved into the home.
My Mother was not happy in her first unit and neither was I. She has now moved and she is much happier and looked after better. They could do with more staff and needs decorating.

I am very pleased that Greenfield Care Home really did a good job of taking care of my Mother-in-Law. I noticed that she looks very radiant now. The home is very clean, staff are very helpful and always with a smile, plus they are very gentle to all the residents. At least myself and my Hubby are at
