Paradise House is a purpose-built home and is situated on the west side of Leyland, close to local shops and amenities and surrounded by parkland. All residents are provided with individual personal or nursing care by highly trained staff within a warm, relaxed and friendly environment.

They work closely with residents to develop a joint care plan and encourage involvement in activities that suit individual personal interests and abilities. Help is always on hand with an emergency call system.

They pride themselves on being a high-quality nursing and residential care provider that strives to deliver a first-class service to all residents. In addition, dedicated domestic staff provides a daily room cleaning and laundry service and catering staff ensure that all meals are prepared freshly on-site each day.

Morning coffee and afternoon tea are always available and they also cater for specialist dietary requirements and individual preferences.

Mum-in-law moved into Paradise House in June 2024, she is suffering with the early stages of dementia and at 94 could no longer live independently. She settled into the home well and is very happy three. She feels safe and well looked after. Her wishes are respected.

Due to a friend's dementia, there was no option to keep him at home. Since he has been going to Paradise House he has been really cared for. The staff are wonderful and he is kept clean, well fed and happy. To every member of staff, I thank you.

From my very first visit, I was made to feel welcome. All the staff are friendly and I knew that this was the right care home for my mum. The staff are all caring and compassionate and they should feel proud that they are doing a fantastic job. I feel I have peace of mind that after I have visited
Mum, I am at ease to know she is being looked after by such a dedicated team. Mum has only been in for two weeks and I can already see such a difference in her health and wellbeing.

Agency staff not up to standard. Too much food is wasted. Glad family members visit me every day to ensure I am looked after very well and all is okay. Too few staff on occasions.

My husband has been assessed as having mixed dementia - at the moderate stage, so I have only been associated with the care home for a few months. I am more than happy with the carer and support he has been given.

My dad was here for the last year of his life. Although he didn't sometimes appreciate the care (love) and attention they gave him - we did. The staff are attentive and caring at all times. I would highly recommend this home. Special thanks to the deputy manager and one carer in particular.

Management has been very helpful with advice regarding some of the Lancashire County Council bureaucracy. Both management and staff are lovely and helpful. I've seen a great improvement in my mother's health and well-being since her arrival. The facilities and rooms are okay.

My mum came to Paradise House on 18th Dec 2023. At the time she was bedbound and not feeling herself. In the few weeks at Paradise House, she has improved immensely.
She is now socialising with the residents and staff. She is enjoying her meals and feels herself again. She is now more alert and engaged
with her surroundings. She knows she is safe and looks healthy. The staff are very attentive, caring and they treat her with respect and dignity.

We recently moved my frined to Paradise due to being very unhappy with the care home she was previously in. We noticed immediately how clean the home smelt and how friendly and nurturing the staff are. We observe every time we go and we can honestly say we cannot fault Paradise House. Staff are always
sat with the residents and never left unattended, they always have walking aids so the are free to go wherever they want. The care for my friend has been thorough. I recommend 100%.

This is an excellent care home with a wonderful manager and staff. There seem to be very few agency staff. My husband has a lovely room and thoroughly enjoys the gentle humour of the staff. The team are obviously well briefed on a day-to-day basis, and I am amazed at home much medical knowledge they
have - must be good training in the background. Nothing is too much for the staff and manager.

This home has been a lifesaver for my dad. On admission from the hospital, they immediately picked up on a life-threatening error made by the hospital doctors. They have done everything they can to rehabilitate and improve his standard of living. The home is managed fantastically and the entire team
are not only on the ball but warm and friendly. I have experience in care and this home is excellent, one of the very best!

This home is a lovely home, my grandad doing so well being in his new room, it's lovely to see the change in him. Some of the girls are also lovely with him, seeing him smile. When he sees them shows us how well he's looked after.

Our mum has lived here for four years. She is happy and content and very well cared for. Her room is always clean and tidy. The care she receives is excellent. Personally happy that Mother is in safe hands and is being cared for properly, as are her needs. Staff are very supportive and understanding and are patient with her demands.
