First impression, good. Courteous greeting by staff explaining delay for covid test. Shown to the resident's room. Caring staff made her more comfortable., arranging pillows and a short chat. A good friendly atmosphere. She enjoys her room. Large window, light and airy. En suite a bonus. Visit an hour
and a half. All we saw we liked. Atmosphere/cleanliness etc.

Mum has really settled at Abbeycroft in the past 12 months. She compliments the food on a regular basis, and I have seen firsthand how good it looks and smells. The staff are second to none, so caring, friendly, and helpful. The activity coordinator does the entertainment for residents and there are
lots of things going on activity-wise. We as a family are really happy that Mum is being well cared for.

My father was placed in Abbeycroft after a lengthy stay in hospital where his mobility deteriorated rapidly. In the six weeks he has been in Abbeycroft he has improved greatly which can only be attributed to the good care and support offered by the staff. Communication and support from both staff and
the management team have also been excellent.

Our mum has been treated with care and empathy at Abbeycroft. The staff go out of their way to make residents happy. The home is clean and fresh and mum says the food is very good. We have no complaints.

Because of the Covid pandemic, visits to the care home have not been allowed until recently and only one or two family can now visit. Therefore, it is difficult to comment as our time spent at the home is limited.

My mother was originally very agitated but over time the staff have helped calm her down and she seems if not happy (would obviously still like to be home) at least pacified.
She is extremely stubborn and we know it isn't always easy to get her to bath etc we accept this but obviously hope all is
done to keep her clean and dry. All is done to try and get her to mix with everyone and maybe over time this area will improve.
