We viewed many care home around Warrington, none had the effect that The Old Rectory had when we walked in. We felt an immediate welcome, it was light, colourful and clean. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and showed us to a room that we knew instantly would please Mum. I cannot praise the
staff enough, they are always helpful, ready to listen, caring and are kind and courteous to all of the residents. Plenty of activities are arranged each week to stimulate and entertain the residents and the food is excellent with a good variety of wholesome meals.

This family-run nursing home has been a wonderful home to my mum for the last 5 years. The staff are kind, caring and compassionate and go out of their way to provide people with high-quality care based on their individual needs. There are numerous activities and trips to be enjoyed which mum really

My mother-in-law has been a resident for the last 3 years. My family are extremely impressed by the level of care she has received from day one. She is extremely content with her surroundings and the staff could not be more accommodating. I know she feels safe and secure. This year's diary of activities
is most impressive. Ranging from trips out to films and Easter activities. There is plenty going on. My mother-in-law and I enjoy the matrons afternoon chats where residents input on subjects covered is encouraged. The afternoon tea was a high point and was as good as any posh hotel. Well done.

The Old Rectory Nursing Home is outstanding in every area (not just excellent). The care and dedication of every member of staff is exemplary. There is such a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Each member of staff makes each and every resident feel at ease and part of a huge family. It
feels like 'home' not just a nursing home. The staff show dignity and respect to everyone whilst at the same time with fun and laughter. They treat them like their own family. I cannot thank them enough. They all deserve a gold medal and £1000 a week!

My father began living at The Old Rectory in November 2017. I am extremely satisfied with his care by all the staff. His room is lovely and we were able to make it look like his own home with pictures and furniture. There is a feeling of shared ethos among the staff from Matron to the cleaners. I cannot
think of any criticism, only praise for this excellent Nursing Home. Five stars in all aspects.

The resident was reluctant to stay in a home, but age and disability made it necessary. Now she is extremely comfortable. She is always well presented. The carers know her well. She is eating well and we are kept in contact and up to date. The home and rooms are clean, comfortable and bright. Visitors
are always welcomed. There seems to be enough staff.

My mother has been a resident at this nursing home for just over twelve months and I have been very happy with overall care and standards during this time.
The one point that concerns me at times is the response when the toilet is needed. She is sometimes expected to wait which is difficult. This is
a minor point.
The staff, from matron down, are excellent. My mother has all the care she required and this is delivered to the highest standard.
I would have no reservations in recommending this home.

From my first meeting, with the matron, I was impressed by her friendliness and openness. My father, unfortunately, was not at The Old Rectory's care for long, but the care and attention he received from all the staff was serious to none. The support and dignity which he receives over the last days
of his life was so appreciated by my family, it helped us through the difficult time of losing a loved one.

Every member of staff from domestic, catering, carers and nursing staff were excellent. Everyone showed a caring and compassionate attitude. At times my parents were treated with dignity and respect in their final days. As a family, we were kept informed of any changes in their health and nothing was
too much trouble, The home itself was clean and set in a beautiful setting. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursing home.

We find the staff very helpful and pleasant. Everywhere is bright and clean. They celebrate everyone's birthdays, Christmas and Easter and all are celebrated with gifts and chocolate. They try very hard to make a difference and make people feel it is not just another day.

The Old Rectory provides my mother with a real "home from home". The standard of care is exemplary. She is at all times, provided with excellent care from staff who treat her with dignity. The staff are bright and fun. They are well trained. There is a happy atmosphere at The Old Rectory and lots of
laughter. The house is spotlessly clean. I am impressed with the standard of care both practical and nursing. My mother's health has improved since she moved in. The staff are alert to her needs. She is well nourished and I am very satisfied with her care.

I've always found the staff at The Old Rectory caring, kind and helpful to all the residents. They are pleasant to residents and visitors alike and sympathetic despite having some difficult and awkward residents from time to time. The Old Rectory is a clean bright, comfortable home with home cooked
meals on the premises. There are well-kept gardens where the staff ensure residents who wish to can sit outside on warm summer days. All residents are well cared for which includes all medical needs.

I have only had a positive experience with the care home. All the staff are friendly, pleasant and fully committed to the care of the residents. Mum would not be with us but for the care given by the staff.

My mother has been a resident at The Old Rectory Nursing Home for 10 months and during this time she has been looked after with the utmost dedication by all the staff. The home is a friendly place and the fact that so many of the staff have been there for many years speaks volumes for the way the home
is managed from the owners down to the care staff. The cleanliness is very good and although my mother has dementia and can't remember what she has eaten the food always looks good and freshly cooked. I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to others.

The staff are always friendly and caring. The rooms are well designed and nicely decorated. The home is well maintained. Mum loves spending time in the garden in the summer and really enjoys the trips out. This help expands horizons which can get limited with time spent in care. There are also
lots of other activities on the site compared to the previous home my mother was in. Mum has more opportunity to choose elements of her own care. I would not hesitate to recommend the Old Rectory to anyone looking for a good friendly caring home for their relative.
