I could not have wished for better care for my husband and the support he received whilst at The Laurels - the end-of-life care was excellent. I was supported throughout this difficult time by all the staff. Thank you.

Since my nana came to live at The Laurels, she seems more presentable and enjoys the company of staff. My nana's eating habits have improved since being here. The staff always seem willing to help her no matter what she needs. We, as a family, feel more content knowing she is safe.

Well The Laurels excelled again. The D day concert for all residents organised by the whole team was fabulous.
All staff in period dress good entertainment tea and cakes home baked what more could you ask for.
You are a super team of dedicated people who demonstrate care and kindness to your residents.

My mum has been at The Laurels in Norton now for just over 11 months and the care that she receives is excellent. She did take a few months to settle in but the staff was very supportive to all her needs and Mum now feels at home. Staff always make family members very welcome when we visit and nothing
is too much trouble for them.

The Laurels is an excellent care home from the manager down to the cleaners the staff are very helpful and caring towards all residents. The activities and trips are really good and keep all active and entertained all week, week in and week out. I very much recommend anyone needing to place a loved

Although my Mum only had a short stay at The Laurels, the staff were kind, friendly and caring. There were no visiting restrictions and the staff were very welcoming at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely home.

My mum has lived at The Laurels for almost four years and we as a family have had no major issues with her care, only a couple of minor ones. She has had a good relationship with her carers despite the fact that she has no real communication skills. She has had a deterioration in her health these past
couple of months and the staff have made her as comfortable as possible.

My mum is so obviously well thought of and so well looked after by all the staff, she is at end of life and all the staff ensure she is comfortable and they all make such an effort to make sure her remaining time is as enjoyable as it can be and that she is comfortable and pain free. I really enjoy
visiting and I am always made to feel welcome. I am kept informed of everything I need to know. When she first went into The Laurels Nursing Home it was meant to be temporary until I could get her moved closer to me, but she became settled so I decided to make her stay permanent and it was the best decision ever.

My mother is well cared for by a lovely team. She is treated with respect and patience. When we visit, we are always greeted with a smile. We are kept informed, if she is ill or in need of anything. For the money the client is left in a hot room with no activity.
These clients should have better interaction and things to do, not left with the TV on and staring into space.

Since Trust Care took over The Laurels, the staff have ongoing training programmes particularly in the safety aspects ie, fire evacuation, correct and safe moving of residents which as a relative gives me peace of mind.

The standard of care is excellent. Staff are very friendly and supportive and seem happy to work there. The atmosphere is open and welcoming. There are regular resident/family meetings with written feedback on any comments or issues raised. Staff were very helpful to me when assisting my mum to settle

A very clean, well furnished and nicely decorated home in quiet and pleasant surroundings. Staff are very caring and pleasant to residents and visitors alike. I have no worries or concerns about my mother's health and well-being - I have every confidence that she is being well looked after and cared
for. She has been a resident now for just over 12 months and it has given her a new lease of life.

The Laurels is a comfortable home with a light lounge in the conservatory with a cosy feel and very relaxing for residents. The quiet lounge is ideal when family visit and don't want to sit in the resident's room. The staff are friendly and very attentive and care for all residents needs and build up
a good relationship with the family. The food and choice is very good and every diet catered for. Always assured that the family member is cared for and all medical needs addressed. Would highly recommend.

My wife was admitted in August 2018 due to the closure of her previous home. She settled well, she is happy, clean and comfortable in general.
We have no issues with her day to day care. My family and I visit most days and are always happy with my wife's well being.

Darren is more than happy to help or advise anyone with any queries or questions in respect of the journey to residing in a care home, and its processes.
