Excellent service from dedicated staff who ensure everyone is treated with respect and dignity. The food that is served to the residents is very good and activities are organised to cater for all. Highlight for the residents are the visits from the singers.

We love that your grandad is settled in well with us and he is enjoying being part of our family. Have a wonderful day and we will see you on your next visit.
I booked my mum to stay for one week to see how she settled. I found the staff to be polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Mum said she enjoyed her holiday and would go back which was lovely to hear. Mum doesn't remember her stay now due to her dementia but she enjoyed herself at the time which is all that matters. I am looking to book her again for regular respite. My mum likes company and the stimulation is good for her well-being.
Thank you for taking the time to review Byron Lodge so highly. We are thrilled your mum enjoyed her time with us and look forward to seeing you both in the future. We strive to provide the highest quality of care for our residents and we appreciate your feedback. Have a lovely day.
He'd previously been in a care home that didn't meet our standards.
From the day we moved him to Byron Lodge, our hearts warmed. He was cared for to the very highest of standards. He was kept spotless and clean. He was motivated with the daily care and activities, well fed and always supplied with hot and cold drinks. He was encouraged by staff to eat and drink. He struggled with his mobility and the team constantly monitored and made adaptations. His room and bedding was comfortable and kept clean. Food was lovely each day.
Every single staff member went above and beyond for him and us as a family. We always felt welcome, whatever time day or night.
Nothing at all was too much trouble.
It was a pleasure for him to be there.
It was comforting for us as a family that he spent his final months at such a gorgeous place.
We thank you!
Keep up the great work Byron Lodge Team.

I have been extremely impressed by all staff at Byron Lodge. From the welcome and explanations I received on my first visit, to the fact that every member of staff makes an effort to introduce themselves and have a chat. The standards of care are very high and the staff genuinely care for the residents and enjoy their interactions with them. There are numerous activities, which encourage the residents to engage with each other and the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The food and drinks are plentiful and the staff keep documentation up to date throughout their shift. The place is transparent and posts regularly on social media to allow families to be aware of how their relatives are doing. I am highly delighted with the care provided to my father and cannot recommend this place enough or thank the staff enough for their dedication and support given to my father and our family as a whole.

I have visited several homes in the local area. My dearest friend has been at Byron Lodge for nearly 2 years and has settled in beautifully. I can only comment on things I have seen and I have to say the care has been exceptional. When I arrive I have always found her to be clean and well-kept. The staff on her group are friendly and eager to please. My friend has been very complimentary with regards to the food and was singing the chef's praises about Christmas Dinner, which I understand from those family members that came to the home on the day was outstanding. I think that is just marvelous. I would not hesitate in recommending this home.

Byron Lodge is quite a distance from where my dad and I live, but it is worth travelling the distance, my dad is in a good place. My first impressions when walking into Byron Lodge, is a warm and friendly feeling. The people who care for my dad are gentle and caring, always making sure he is comfortable and looking out for his best interests.

Caring and patient. A very community-styled care and welfare delivery. Good to see carers discuss their charges (clients), in change over and support, to alleviate distress.

I am pleased to give my review of Byron Lodge, as I find it is everything I would want it to be for the care of my husband. Clean, good meals and excellent staff. I know he is in good hands and can relax, knowing he is well cared for.
We understand the care home has had some reported problems in the past, but have never experienced any ourselves. The care home now has a new manager, who seems to be implementing changes for the better. We had total support from her while obtaining the one-to-one support needed for my father. All the staff are approachable and friendly. We have had no complaints about the care my father has had while being in Byron lodge.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. It is lovely to hear what a positive experience you have always had at Byron Lodge. The new Manager of the home is working hard to make improvements for the benefit of residents and their families. She has an open door policy and welcomes feedback for the benefit of all.
We are so pleased my dad is in Bryon Lodge Care Home. He is really cared for by the staff and is kept so clean. They are very good with his medication. Could not ask for more.

My mum was here for 2 years. I’m going to tell you with the virus we could not go. When we did I was not pleased. You would not leave a dog how they left my mum! I saw her Saturday and moved her today. I don’t want to disrespect my mum so I won’t put photos on here. Don’t take your parents here. I can’t tell you how bad she looked. On a good note, we took her out today, thank god we did.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We take all feedback about our homes, whether positive or negative, very seriously. Following the contents of your review we have looked into this further and are confident that all the residents in our care are happy, very well cared for and...
Feel really happy that Dad is here. I live away and I know he’s well looked after. We managed to finally visit Dad at the weekend and every member of staff said hello to us and checked if Dad was ok as they walked past. I couldn’t ask for anything else. They are trying to find things to help dad settle when he’s having a bad day, which I really appreciate.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. It is lovely to hear how happy you are with the care your dad receives, particularly as you are don't live local. I will share your wonderful comments with all the team.
I chose Byron Lodge for my Mum's care home almost three years ago and have been very happy with my decision. It was extremely hard when she had to be placed in care, however, I know she has always been well looked after and all her needs met. It is a clean, warm friendly home and the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend Byron Lodge without a shadow of a doubt.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to let us know how we did. We are thrilled to know you chose and trust us to take care of your mum.
