Lonnen Grove is a welcoming six-bedded home providing nurse-led care for adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs.
Although small, the care provided is no less than that of the larger Exemplar homes. Care and activity plans are built for each service user and tailored to each service user. They ensure the goals set are achievable, the service user is happy and remains as independent as possible.
The home is spacious and homely, with each bedroom decorated and furnished to suit personal tastes, as well as being fitted with TV and telephone points. All bedrooms feature an en-suite wet room.
A furnished kitchen allows service users to cook and eat together, providing a more sociable setting. Social activities are important at Lonnen Grove, with individual hobbies and interests encouraged.
Regular trips to the leisure complex, shopping centre, cinema and more are made possible through the use of a private minibus. Service users also enjoy holidays to Wales, Skegness and even boating on the Norfolk Broads.

My experience of this care home is; the staff are always helpful to answer any questions relating to my son or the home. They were friendly and caring towards all residents and listen to them if they need help for anything. The home is always clean and tidy, as are the residents. The meals are good, wholesome, healthy and plentiful.
